Theres a new case out that is made for GoPro Vlogging. I made a new video all about it. Check it out here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NHYd29-Ie4o.html
So i want to star a youtube channel ghost hunting ect so you think this GO PRO 7 BLACK WILL DO THE JOB GONNA NEED LIGHT GOOD AUDIO AND IMAGINE.LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK
As a beginner vlogger, I bought it after watching your video! 50 videos later and I'm more than satisfied. It's not as good as a DSLR, but to just get started it's easy to use and has really cool functionalities like video stabilization.
true... i recently took mine to Miami and i gotta say is worth the money.. you can vlog with this little thing.. i used imovie and the go pro black 7.. nothing fancy..ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-JcXuOHDmG9A.html
First of all, thank you very much for your free video that was not overselling your product and your services, but delivering an honest informative speech without misleading the listener. What you offered is what I have just learnt this last 3 months as I am somewhat addictive with my pro go camera and experiencing editing which is captivating me. You have given me some very useful information as trying to get honest free information with no budget is always a challenge, I guess like so many people it is a case of watching, reading and cherry picking the pieces that help oneself. With stories from my travelling as a trainer to over 50 countries and considered unemployable now at 54, I have decided to take up Vlogging and give it a go by starting a business online of which I want to deliver speeches to people wanting to learn beside my other trainings,. Thank you again and I look forward to learning more from you. I wish you and your wife and a great year. I have a gorpo 6, very impressed with the camera and accessories which I was able to purchase at a great price on black Friday before Xmas..,
I just got my self a go pro 7 to help with my vlogging. Thanks for sharing these tips. I was looking for additional attachments to incorporate better audio
@@MehdiMirian I agree with you. One of the advantages about having the GoPro is that it's small and unobtrusive. As soon as you start adding a mic on top, you start attracting attention to yourself. I also keep mine in a pocket on my purse, so it's always at my fingertips. Put a cage, a mic, some metal parts -- now it's not so easy anymore.
Book Your Imagination exactly, plus every generation of GoPros are getting better and better that it’s just easier and more practical to carry a GoPro with you than a any other type of camera. I believe that a GoPro paired with a couple of accessories and a good phone makes for the best travel gear, you’re hands free and can actually enjoy your trip or event ;)
This video is so why I enjoy your channel, Jeven. You made a few tweak to your set up that I didn't think about.... like removing the gopro mount on the cage. Until I looked closer at my exact cage, I didn't realize there was a thread hidden there. Now I can just mount it directly to the same mini tripod like you do. Thanks for all you do! And why was I using my big metal top handle to raise up the mic. Your mini cold shoe riser is so much simpler. Simple stuff but we all sometimes overlook the simple. Props to you 👊
Thank You. We just got all the add-ons though the link and did some tests and are exited to go out and give it a try. Love watching your videos about youtube and the GoPro Hero 7!!!!
This was very helpful, I just got a hero 7 and I love it, my settings are the same but I was unsure of attachments and with those basic sort of attachments it's essentially the perfect all around cam for more amateur vloggers
Thanks for the info! I'm about to make a motovlog using the hero 7 and external mic mounted in my helmet. I didn't know which setting to use and you were the only one that mentioned the proper setting. You da man!
Quality is not that amazing if you do not know how to make all settings. Have that on mind. I bought one because all this reviews and it was not near the good,
Great video, Justin. I have to start using my GoPro 7 more. You really know how to shoot with it. I will have to try using an external mic. I should have traded in my old 4. Learned a lot here. Thanks. Keep the videos coming.
Great vid thanks mate, I now have everything you've mentioned above copying your setup. (I already had the GoPro 7). 1 question though, when I want to use the GoPro 7 without the Rode mic, can I leave the Audio Input on Standard mic+ or should I return the setting back to Standard mic? I haven't had a chance to test the differences yet......Thanks....
Thanks Jeven. Enjoying your videos!! Getting ready to retire @52. I've been watching your channel and I think I'm going to give Vlogging a shot (pun intended.) Deciding on gear is one thing. Deciding on content is another.
Thanks for this video! I’m just starting and my hubs has a GoPro I can use instead of my iPhone. I just subscribed- great content and well put together! I look forward to more of your videos to help me along the way!
Visited my local best buy here in Milpitas, long story short, about eight gp7 black that were obviously in a locked glass cage, (no way for me to change price) were price wrong for $199 as gp7 white. Got it for $199.
I heard the quality isn’t as good as the GoPro hero 7 black. There’s 3 versions, silver white and black. The silver and white have less features while the black has everything. It’s basically like buying the iPhone XR instead of theXS
Awesome setup. One of the best, if not the best and most practical set up I have seen so far. I already have the GoPro Hero 7 Black. And I also own the 'Boya Lavalier Mic'. Hope it's compatible with the Gopro Mic Adapter.
I have a Sony A7ii and would like to start making some videos. I want to eventually get a GoPro to use for blogging but for the time being I will use my Sony. Will the microphone you have listed work with my camera?
thanks for the info. Im going to get the same setup as you. I have a question: can you add a gimbal to this setup or do you have to take it apart to use a gimbal?
Hi. Thanks for this video. So, I just purchased the set up you show here, but am not clear how all the things attach to each other exactly 😞 I've tried to stop the video at different points, but I can see well enough. Would you provide a diagram or extreme close up of how you have the hot/cold shoe attached to the case, and then, how you have the mic and mic adapter attached to that?? I would be ever so grateful! 🤗💕
Thanks for the video. I have a quick question. The footage looks great and I’ve noticed exposure issues if you don’t lock the exposure. Is that what you did here? Also it seems that even in the low light it was picking up really well do you have any suggested settings for that?
I have been testing this for a while, good light and some editing is more than enough. I also found a way to ditch the bulky housing and still keep the audio adaptor.
I appreciate the tips but I question how many owners of the 7 Hero Black are looking to do professional grade work with a GoPro. I'm fine with what comes stock.
Great vlog, so subscribed. I have been looking at this camera since it came out but read as many bad reviews as good reviews, so been holding off buying. I shoot in very windy conditions so the ability if use an external mic is awesome, the fact you have to buy and additional bit of plastic for GoPro is not but got to admit, the quality you got was superb. ATB to you, cheers Alan
I held out (procrastinated) for years waiting for the perfect GoPro to be created . Finally! My patience (procrastination) has paid off! I just bougt the GoPro 7 black today! Yes!
Thank you for the awesome informative video! My friends and I are just starting out and cant wait to get our first video out there! We've been watching a ton of your content and trying to learn every bit we can from you, as well as your peers. Keep up the great content and who knows, maybe one day we'll bump into each other!
"Vloging it's mostly about storytelling, its about you, about what you do...." Thank you so much about this video; i know thousand things you can't do, by using a GoPro, but also, i know how does it feels, when you watch video on youtube, and you admire awesome cinematic footage made by 10000000$ cameras. This video, make me feel like: ok Lex, this is your chance to, finally start this Vlog! Use your imagination and, you'll be more proud of yourself, because you're not using great and special gear for that. So, a really big thank you, for being honest saying: "it's not the best thing to do....but..." I'll probably mention you on my first Vlog; no one will see it, but it's just to show a little of gratitude. cheers mate!
Thanks for another awesome video!! I'm considering this Hero 7 Black but, I've seen a lot of reviews stating that there is a lot of stuttering/jitter while panning slowly. Have you had this issue? If so, is there a work around? Thanks again for your awesome informative video. Ray
Thanks for all the great content! I just signed up for another course. No mention of ND filters and I didn't see any in the shots of the GoPro set up. Did you use any ND filters with the footage for this video? Would you use the Polar Pro ND Filters as you mentioned in a previous video? What color settings did you use? Did you color grade?
Love the setup Jevon. Though I was particulary intrigued with what you were using with your phone at 1:19 . Was that a phone gimbal? Never seen anything like it before..
I'm fairly new to vlogging and bought the Hero 8 Black last year. Have you used the media mods they came out with for this model? If so, would you recommend the media mod or the Rode mic in this video? Also, thanks for the very informative video!
