This is the journey of how I started to put in 10,000 steps a day. This video was a few months in the works, I noticed that I hit a wall in terms of weight loss even though I exercise for an hour a day and eat well.
The apple health app doesn't lie though.. I was averaging 1 - 3k steps a day. But this past week I've increased those averages to 6 to 10k.
It's all about those 1 percent changes baby!
Enjoy :)

I average around 1k-2k steps a day too! It's pathetic - but lately, I've been realizing how easy it is to get out a do a 10-15 minute walk twice a day! Total game changer and definitely important!

Jessica M yup! It’s actually pretty amazing if you think about how little it actually takes

I’m a big fan of walking. I try to reach 10000 steps a day. So far this year I’m averaging 9919 steps. Great tip on making small changes to reach the goal!

Yo! Yeah, when I was on the road traveling, I hardly had to look at my steps. But it’s gotten bad since being back, sitting at my desk all day 😅 thanks for watching my dude!

Oh damn! A podcast! Nice :)! You’ve actually got a great voice for podcasting dude! By the way... *stepping* up your game with this one. They’re all great but the flow with this episode was so on point!

Haha I’ve done a done of podcasts with steemit in my day, so this was super easy to hop on. and thanks my dude, I’m chipping away at improving on one thing every time I create a video.

I walk a lot. Have always been a walker but never counted how many steps I take.Thats actually an interesting thing to find out. I stand and don't sit when Im on public transportation because I sit all day at my job. Youre so right. In general most people, especially young people like teens are becoming less and less active. Not a good thing. Thanks👍👍

Yup, it’s actually crazy how we can reduce back pain, hip pain, stress by just getting up an extra 2 hours a day! Also thanks for watching :)

I never took much notice about my steps but now I’m definitely going to try to make it at least 10,000. At the moment, it’s at around 6000 steps on school days. However, during the weekends it is only around 500.

Yeah, it’s a really interesting concept if you think about it, it doesn’t take much to get too little steps and a lot of steps!

you had a lot of camera person work in this one. improve 1% is the difference i needed between "you don't walk enough" and "where you should be". the comments on this video are on point.

Yeah I did! I had my girlfriend filming me a lot more. Yup, that 1 percent concept is powerful!

My dude. Me & my wife are literally filming a video right now on walking 12 miles total to eat a cheese burger. Currently at 15k steps 😂😂😂

Nice to see you and other commenters owning up to those shame-inducing 1,000 step days. Also, nice Penn State pullover! I wish I had a step counter when I was in undergrad there 10 years ago. The campus is so spread out yet walker friendly. 👍

Haha when I was at penn state, I used to walk 6 miles a day. That campus was huge

I used my Apple health app and also another app called steps. They aren’t 100 percent accurate, but it’s a relative baseline that matters
