I didn’t believe you for the coconut miracle oil but I was WRONG! The oil made my damaged hair so soft and smooth. Btw I have dark thick hair. And the bottle was smaller than what I thought BUT still good deal compared to other hair oils that cost $35 etc. It works for me. Thank you for the recommendation ❤
This new drugstore recommendation are amazing I live in a small town in Mexico and I have a hard time finding recommended products these recommendations are more accessible to me❤ thank u
I have thick head of hair, medium strand thickness, multi textured (wavy and curly) and a lot of the curly hairs are super thick. My hair is super dry and I guess average oily level on roots after a few days of not washing. Some bleached areas but still super dry if unbleached. Rarely use heat tools. Tangles so easily. As in dreading and matting within days if I'm careless enough. I find a lot of oils to be too heavy on my hair, even oil shine sprays. Maybe I have high porosity? I still haven't figured out my porosity. So, not drenching in oil but applying a bit more oil than one would applying shine spray, most on the ends, least on the roots, then a somewhat hydrating but also still clarifies type of shampoo, NO conditioner and really helps my hair feel more soft, less frizz, and less tangles for a couple days! Dimethicone as the main ingredient for shine sprays tend to work better for me, since it's not as heavy for me. hope this helps anyone with similar hair to me
I’ve been following your recommendations (my hair was grossly damaged due to overuse of Color WOW Dream Coat on bleached hair), and my hair is finally healthy! I started with Moroccan Oil S & C then switched to L’Oréal Bond Repair S & C, Pureology 21, Ogx Coconut oil, the ElizaVecca mask and K18. My hair is now sleek and smooth, thank you!
Adorable cream bronzers. Of course, I will buy a cream bronzer 😊. Thanks a lot of your reviews, because I make a list of these products 😊❤. Love from Greece. Your eyelook is stunning.
Curly hair actually needs to follow with leave in on the mids and ends because curls love to dry out. If you are wanting length do not skip the oil on your ends because making your ends healthy will make sure they don’t snap off and you manage new length!
Aldi have brilliant hair care, dome of my fave!! i can even leave the conditioners in my waist length bleached hair & it is the so beautiful! around 78p!!! i trained as a hairdresser and know my ingredients! Aldi also have Olaplex dupes as do Home Bargains! they are brilliant!!!
So question. I live in the Netherlands. And we can't get the L'Oréal pure line here very easily or pay a lot of money. We do have the L'Oréal elvive bond repair in the white with silver bottles. Does that perform as good as the pure line?
The Kristen ess one is good and so is the nexxus volume one but the craziest clarification I have had is unfortunately the most expensive which is the olaplex clarify shampoo it’s almost stripping to be honest (I have fine oily hair and don’t use products)
It depends on your hair and your hair needs. I have dry damaged hair so I only need to wash my hair once a week to begin with. I use clarifying shampoo as needed to remove build up so usually once to twice a month. Your hair needs may be different from mine.
I was under the understanding that you still need to condition after a hair mask being that a hair mask still has a higher ph. Finalizing with the lower ph formula in conditioner seals the cuticle after shampooing and using a hair mask.
The CER-100 mask is among my favorite things for hair ever. I am a product junkie and I had Olaplex and Curlsmith Salve for bond treatment... and I dropped both for this 7$ hair mask. My curls pop when I use it and my hair doesn't get hard afterwards, contrary to the Curlsmith product. Olaplex is still the champion, but it is too expensive and the new dictatorship government of Brazil is making the life of importers very hard. So, it is easier to bring it here (and we don't loose much if our gov doesn't allow it to get in).
So I am not anti-silicone by any means, I always use an oil with dimethicone in it as my last step/between washes to take frizz, but in my mind doesn’t dimethicone sort of “seal” the hair shaft and stop anything else after that in your routine from penetrating? Because of this thought process, I don’t like dimethicone in my shampoos, conditioners, or even leave-ins. Just my last step: hair oil to seal. It’s like how my sleeping mask is the last step in my skincare routine, hair oil (with dimethicone) is the last step in my hair care routine to seal everything in. Is this bogus logic?
I use products with those ingredients and hair oil and never had an issue. I have high porosity and dry damaged hair so my hair loves moisture and just absorbs it all. Maybe it depends on your hair porosity etc. everyone's hair and experiences are different.
I shampoo with salicylic acid shampoo, detangle with an oil and condition with L'Oreal elvive detangle conditioner lol. Then when its almost dried I use a hyaluronic acid lotion on my hair especially the ends.
Love your channel and all your shorts. The advice is sound and so easy to follow. I've NEVER jumped onto the natural haircare train, because I believe that sulphates and silicones are the holy grail. Get a lot of hate because of it. Pretty, pretty please 🙏 could you please advise us curly girls with ethnic hair? Some of the tips just doesn't seem applicable for girlies like me. Or maybe I'm just doing it wrong mehhhh ☺️
Can you do a video on best higher end products containing sulphates and Silicones since you say that sulphates and Silicones are the reason why drug store products are good?
Ouai Detox Clarifying shampoo or Suave clarifying shampoo. You want to make sure the shampoo specifically says it is chelating and removed mineral deposits. Great Clips also sells a clarifying shampoo called Solutions clarifying shampoo and it is designed to lift chlorine, mineral deposits, and buildup. I used it for years when I was a competitive swimmer.
It clogs my pores, too, and I was hesitant to try it because of that. Decided to try what she’s suggesting and haven’t had any issues, I just don’t let the oil touch my skin, wash my hands really well after I put it in, wrap my hair up in a clip, and then let it sit for an hour or so. Then shower. However, when I’m showering, I wash it out and do ALL my wash day hair routine stuff *before* I do my body wash and face wash so it will get any coconut oil residue off of my skin. Haven’t had clogged pores at all doing this.
Thank you for sharing but I'm allergic to the preservatives METHYLCHLOROISOTHIAZOLINONE, METHYLISOTHIAZOLINONE do you have any other suggestions for clarifying shampoos.
Ok I have fully bought into this channel but haven't tried anything yet. When she says to use a "treatment" after clarifying , would that include using a conditioner?
I’m allergic to the scent of the L’Oréal can u recommend another brand? I can’t do rose it’s instant headache and sneezing! I have Red colored curly frizzy weak hair
What about deep conditioning for someone who gets break outs on the scalp. I use a clarifying shampoo about every three weeks to avoid drying out my hair. But heavy conditioners and leave ins clog my scalp.😢
You can do before, after, or both. I love using hair oil after I wash my hair as a finisher after I apply all the other hair products. It depends on your hair needs and preferences.
OGX is trash…”reformulated” or not I’m not taking the chance on my hair, and honestly seeing it in this video makes me side-eye all your recommendations. Of all the pre-shampoo hair oils in the world, why would you recommend one from a company being sued for using chemicals that cause hair loss?
Someone please tell me. Are you supposed to put the oil in dry hair before getting in the shower to wash or after you wet your hair before you shampoo? Probably a stupid question, but I really want to do this and I want to do it right.
Put it on dry hair before showering and let it soak in for a while. You can even leave it in overnight if you want, and then shampoo/condition the next morning.
So I hated the L’Oréal bond strengthening conditioner! I need something that will take out my knots my hair was super knotted after my shower but I absolutely loved the purple hyaluronic acid shampoo by them! I have balayage bleached hair and it’s super long. Please help!
Is their a difference between loreal ever pure bond repairing concentrate? I bought the 14% concentrate that matched the bond repair shampoo and conditioner Should I have gotten the other concentrate instead?
Could someone please tell me why it sounded like she said to “apply coconut oil all over your legs and eyes” I had to watch it again because I knew something was… just a little off
What if you have oily scalp and damaged lengths and ends? Can you use two different shampoos at the same time or one right after the other, on different parts of the hair?
Okay so I have thick brunette virgin hair, but the tangly oily mess it driving me insane...this started happening worse after having my daughter...any advice..I'm desperate 😢
