It takes me longer to pick the movie out than the time of the actual movie....

When I'm watching a movie I have to have the room completely dark with the tv being the only source of light to truly immerse myself in the movie anyone else?

It's 2019 and this is still gold.

I don't like pausing movies. It breaks the immersion for me.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who stares at his movies forever before deciding what to watch.

I pick a DVD/Blu ray to watch, then I grab some food, a drink then I sit until I'm fully comfortable and enjoy the film. Awesome LED lights by the way!!!

How I watch a movie: My dad is yelling at me to clean something up every 5 seconds when he knows I'm trying to watch a fucking movie!!!!!!!!!!!!

lmao Thats me staring at my movie collection for like 45 minutes before i finally choose a movies or realize I won't have enough time to finish the entire movie.

firstly for some reason i go shower to wake myself up, then cook some spicy korean noodles with a glass of some kind of juice.Then shut my curtains so it dark as possible then watch it in my 4K TV and chill and enjoy also i use my ps4.

This is probably my favorite video on RU-vid.

Well what I do before I watch a movie. First I choose from my movie collection and vudu, bluray, DVD, and VHS. Once I find a movie I go make popcorn and get some coca-cola. Then I put in the movie and turn off all the lights in my house. Then I get comfortable on my couch with a my blanket popcorn and soda and watch the movie.

I try to wait till nighttime to a watch a movie. Daytime can be distracting especially for a deep engrossing film. When I view a flick with my best friend we always allow for discussion time afterwards. Discussion and analysis is the icing on the cake.

Same feelings as Stuckmann, to me this video is definitely one of your best... love it. which is why I love your John Flickster channel... but then again I love movies... so having both that channel and theflickpick is just awesome. Love the American Psycho bit in the beginning, funniest part is that you're kind of parodying it in the first place, and then when the camera is in your microwave you have the perfect response. Funny as hell.

Your best vid. When I watch movies I always choose my movie before getting the food because by the time ive chosen the ice cubes are gone :) All th e lights are off I have a drink(I like coke but iI dont drink too much cuz Im healthy and I have microwaveable buttered pocorn too :)

That LED light is a must have! Really great idea. I usually don't feel ready for a movie unless I have an ice cream snickers bar ready to go

What I do, is I pick out the movie first, then I make air popped popcorn, then I make some tea, ice and sweeten it, then I watch the movie, and eat popcorn and drink iced tea, only drawback is, I have a 10 inch portable bluray player, but it works for what I need

Mine is close to yours..so hard to choose the movie...although I've found over many years of trial and error to either go with the movie I least feel like watching , sometimes its the most fun..or lay out a stack of ten and every time I'm going to watch a movie just grab the top one until the stack is gone..... popcorn , soda sometimes peanut m&m's and enjoy

I might just get that LED set! Thanks Flickster! I slim my choice for a movie to watch down to the genre of the movie, the actors in it, and the length of a movie. If I'm up to it I will invest into a 3 hour movie. Otherwise I will watch an hour and a half movie because I might fall asleep if I try to watch a long movie and I end up not being up to the challenge.
