Hi guys! Today we are covering how to wear a headband wig. Installing a headband wig can be different for beginning wig wearers. It was certainly for me. However, after a while, not only was I able to throw and go but now I can even show you some headband wig styles. I wish someone gave me some headband styling tips when I first started wearing headband wigs. Now I can give all of my beginner headband wig tips to you all!

I’ve really been on the fence about a headband wig , I can see lots of advantages but I keep thinking there must be disadvantages like would she slip back , etc etc but after seeing how good you look I think I’m sold !

Love this video!! Definitely needed this. I’ve had problems putting them on.. makes sense. Plus , I did the method for thinning out knots on curly hair. Used my thinning shears.. and now she’s Gorgeous! Thank You Jesse 💙💛

Thank you for this video that I have enjoyed and it gives me some confidence as I have yet to put on my first wig, but my own bio-hair is nearly non-existent now so I have to face reality... well I looked but could not see any links to the headband wig sites you mention.

Amazon has some good beginner ones. Human hair for what is another brand I like that has some headband options.

The Aussie Sleekend Warrior dry conditioner is no longer available. Is there another dry conditioner you can recommend? I’ve scanned shelves and dry conditioner doesn’t seem to be a thing in my area or anywhere else. Thank you in advance.

A lot of them they have gotten rid of. Issues with the aerosol.

This is a very helpful DIY. I know some nurses who wear these types of wigs and hair bands which what's inspired me to purchase one. You just took me to the next level for me to actually buy one. My question is is there any that's can be used in the swimming pool?

You can definitely them but I would be fully submerging myself in the pool with a wig on. 😊

Did the Amazon headband wig to sooth myself until restocks at CSC and I find the Velcro on the back of headband is horribly itchy. Is there a way to avoid this

I would say wearing a wig grip might help. Also the velcro should be sitting on your neck put more on your hairline

Ok I finally jumped in and got my first head band wig….I love it so much that I gifted all my other wigs…however I’m still having a hard time finding a headband wig that isn’t so dense….(the one I got the SAPPHIREWIGS Glue-less Headband Wig Loose Body Wavy Synthetic Hair Wigs for Black Women Wave None Lace Front Wigs Gray Silvery White Color Machine Made Wigs 26inch 150% Density) just wanted to check with you to see if there is something that has a density of 120%-130% in place of the 150% (as well as in my price range…cheep-I paid $25 on Amazon for this one lol) I want to find exactly what I want before I have to go beg the hubby to approve spending too much money on wigs 🤪 any and all information would be greatly appreciated….thanks! 🫶🏻

Look for sellers who have the velvet headband ones those are less dense and more natural lengths.

You can cut the strap off completely and not even bother with it. The wig still stays perfectly in place. Cut it off and trim off the edge all the way across. You're left with a lot smaller band to cover! So you can use thinner headbands if you want to. Tip came from "Hey Wig Sister".

I don’t have that experience at all and haven’t see that issue with anyone. I would always make sure you are taking it off when you take your wig off and not having it on to tight. Otherwise you shouldn’t have an issue.
