Hello, how's everyone's week been? So today I thought you might enjoy seeing my approach to all black outfits and a few tips in order to make it even more elegant, timeless and wearable year round. I did a big search in the current sales and found beautiful transition pieces having in mind the upcoming mid-season. Although I curated items from exclusive stores, I limited the search budget wise :) As always, I am very grateful for all your support for my Chanel and my styling videos so big hugs to you. I love black but don't wear much of it especially in Summer here in WA. I've got black skirts, two black dresses, black leather jackets, two black Winter coats (one faux fur which I love) and a black trench coat so I have quite a bit of black but I don't think I'll ever wearing more in Summer.

I love black and always have! I have to be careful to make sure I break up the color! I love black ( or white) as a background for color.

Black is the color that fits me best, to my skin color, to my dark blue eyes and to my now white bob, as I transitioned from dyeing.

thanks for this! I wear a lot of black all year round. Sometimes just a necklace is enough to "lift" the look. I think it is the basis of any chic wardrobe 🙂

Once again I learn something,that black is a shade not necessarily a color. You hit the nail on the head. Black is my favorite shade year round for the many reasons you explained.

although I have black hair, bushy black eyebrows with dark brown eyes, I don't look good in all black outfit. it was such a rare occasion I would wear them. I would be looking sick and sad if I wear all black. so I reserved black as my accent colour. totally agree with you, black is not for everyone :)

Hi Sassy, the lighter the hair gets the lighter the depth of the colors you should wear. So if before you could wear brighter colors, now you should wear less vibrant colors. Hope it makes sense x

Most of my wardrobe is black. This started quite a while back when money was tight. If everything is the same colour ... then everything matches. Since then I've started branching out a bit with colour but tend to keep black as my staple to all my outfits. Just an fyi ... I'm a plus size woman and i get really tired of the 'wear a v-neck' trope. V-necks do not look good on everyone. I agree that having your outfit open up around the neck tends to be helpful for us plus size ladies but that does not always mean a v-neck. I look awful in a v-neck. I do look quite good in boat neck or square neck styles. Each woman needs to find a cut that works for them.

Yes I am careful with black being a light warm golden blonde. I always envy brunettes and how striking you all look in black. Black clothing hides pounds and also less expensive clothes look elevated. A medium warm brown, camel, cream are my staple colors.
