I like to keep the stiching color the same if your matching the denim wash for the top and bottom. Contrasting stitching can stick out like a sore thumb if you arent careful.

Having lived ~30 years of my life in Canada, I have no idea how this look came to be known as the "Canadian tuxedo" lol. I think I can count on one hand how many times I've seen someone rocking this look. I'll let you know when we sartorially advance beyond flannel shirts - Don't hold your breath ;)

First error i made was having a very boxy denim upper.Size down.It may be uncomfortable and restrictive during the first wears but will get better.A light wash denim upper is the most versatile but i have other colors like grey and lion brown.

Honestly I’ve just always gone with the classic double denim look rich blue fitted wranglers that I purposely get longer because I wear cowboy boots and work boots only. Solid coloured t-shirt and my cowboy boots and my denim jacket that’s fitted but a little lose ( fits my body type ) I also have a winter one. Classic, rugged and finest look out of place where I live and my denim jackets fit with everything in my wardrobe. Rock it every time.

3:06 ok, that was confusing. Same or contrasting but not slightly contrasting. Hmm. Needed an example of whats bad. Pants will always fade faster than your jacket. I think denim is so casual, everything works unless you have denim pants+jacket _and_ shirt. Edit: Found 2:03 two dark washes not exactly the same. I think it looks fine.

The guy on the right pulls off denim better than the guy on the left. No disrespect intended hes still very sharp. This goes to show not every style is for everyone. I don’t know if I pull off denim at all but the guy on the right looks killer. Id probably be closer to the guy on the left.
