Great Video Brock. I like the oxford button down shirt under a henley look. The problem fro me, its to tight, especially with a long sleeve shirt, so I wear a short sleeve button down under the henley.
Brock, excellent video. Been really excited to layer up this winter, but have been feel really uninspired lately. These looks are excellent and provide some awesome inspiration without having to buy anything new (except maybe a vest, lol). Thank you again for some awesome content.
wow i am the first to comment yeay...could you in the future maybe post a video on grooming . i dont know i am too shabby so any rules for that or are you among those be neat stay neat guys thanks brock you the best... :D
SoFreshSoClean81 I was sad to see it go too, but not so easy come, easy go. Not sure I understand the last part of your post, but if you’re in progress, I’d urge you to continue. It’s a long process that takes commitment. This is not a 6 or 8 month endeavor. You have to be in it for the long haul, otherwise you’re just enduring the initial challenges for nothing. In the end, pretty sure you’ll like it a lot. Hang in there. Good luck.
Hi Brock, what is your take on Twill Overshirts (like Everlane’s version for example) as a more casual but still alternative to blazer for smart casual? I mean as outwear in spring and chilly summers or mid layer come autumn and winter? Do think this is a versatile an MVP in a man’s wardrobe?
Hey, great tips for shorter guys and some cool layering tips. One question, I have a Burgundy knitwear v neck. Can you please suggest the button down shirt and jeans/chinos to wear with this, also any layer up suggestion. Thanks you
Those are all good tips. However, instead of a sweater, I'd opt for a sweater west. I find it much more comfortable when layering due to sleeveless essence of it. Instead of having the sleeves of your jacket clashing with the armholes of your sweater, which again clashes with the armholes of your shirt causing uncomfortable feelings invoked by a restricting range of motion, a vested garment comes without sleeves, which is a great thing when you think about it. . . Garment is functional just as much when it comes to keeping you warm, plus it's more comfortable and movement-friendly, due to the fact that high no sleeves shall increase mobility (high armholes of c). I also interpret it as a more stylish alternative, because the color of the sleeves of your shirt shall be protruding when you remove your jacket...creating a nice analogous aesthetic (since you avoid contrasts).
Just found your channel! Love the videos. I’m currently looking for a good denim long sleeve shirt. Where did you get the one you are wearing in this video?
Awesome video! Loved the first outfit! I was wondering how many inches wide is the shaft of your chelsea boot? I'm really intrested in Thursday Boots Duke and I'm a little concerned the shaft will be to big for my jeans/pants to cover over. I'm about the same shoe size as you (7.5) and I usally get my jeans tapered to a 6.5 inch opening. Thanks!
I don't know what it is but I really dislike the puffy vest and the casual vest style in general, but I do like the more formal ones that you wear with a suit or sport's jacket.
I really hate your videos, because I always want to spend less on cloths but when I see a video of yours I need to resist buying all the stuff I don’t already have... this one is a perfect example. I love vests!
gwimmer98 Wait for sales, buy clothes with most versatility, but neutral colors, invest in clothes with better quality. You shouldn’t spend that much if you’re a smart shopper.
you look a lot more stylish than the other people that you just featured. the other ones look just forced. i liked your examples, pictures, and outfits better
Hi...I would like to ask if its possible to wear botton up shirt as base layer then put on a v neck sweater as a second layer then put on a quilt vest and a jacket as outer layer specially at cold weather again 1.ashirt 2.v neck sweater 3.quilt vest 4.jacket (leather or bomber )
Yes, unless I'm wearing a sweater over the button up. I actually like when a white crew neck is showing a little under a crew neck sweater, but your undershirt isn't really supposed to show under a button up.
I like nearly all of your looks, except the untucked shirt peaking out under sweatshirts is something that hurts my eyes tbh. I see it *everywhere*, but most notably e-commerce websites for some reason do this all the time with their models, and it makes me not want to buy their items.
Zaman Nihal I’m with you! 👍🏻 It never really got “long” per se, but it was looking good. Epic fail. We’re in the minority it appears, but in the end, it’s his hair.
