YO IF YOU ATTACH ONE IN THE FRONT YOU CAN MAKE A COOL GAME MODE LMAO! imagine having one dude with the teleporting mongoose, the goal is to teleport everyone outside the map before they get to a spankr or a skewer!
If this was at launch, it would’ve saved the game from having no content. The community would've(now will) produce so much fun and awesome game modes and maps! Better late then never I guess!
I wanna weld fusion coils with props such as chairs, boxes etc. so you can pick up the props and throw them at people without the merged fusion coil blow up if nodes allow that to be a thing
This is awesome, you could even use it is as a mobile spawning point like the transports in Battlefront 2! IIRC there was a Halo 5 gamemode that had a teleporter welded to a banshee and you had to abduct the other players. Hoping that vehicle welding in Infinite is less janky than 5.
This is getting me hyped. Forge creators will bring so much to the table. You just know that most maps on rotations within the year will be forge made but 100% not look forge made in the traditional sense of being aestheticly plain.
Since you can weld things to vehicles I will try welding a turret on the gun goose or ghost and see if I could glitch the game to make “flyable pelicans” by shoving a wasp into it and also making a custom elephant with scorpions.
Man I cannot wait to get my hands on forge. Idk if halo will have industry staying power, but I know I wanna make some cool maps. Many things I could do with welding objects like that.
Yes but what’s better is that you can change the spawn point of your team by tying it to one spawn point, slap it on a hog or wasp and you can have allies airdropping as ODST’s or as Spartans on the ground spawning inside the enemy base. And also, you could bring a teleporter on your flag so if some one snatches it they will fall to oblivion.
This gives me an idea! Think Ice Cream Man, but instead of running over people, the Hog has a TP on the front. Anyone who gets caught in it gets sent to a murder room; maybe a fusion coil trap, a grav lift tunnel that leads nowhere nice, or just drops you from the heavens, your body falling from the sky into the play area for laughs. Imagine 3 people getting caught, you're running away and they come crashing down around you XD
New game mode idea: Teleporters on the front of ghosts that lead to a death pit. You have to run away from the ghost and try not to get teleported to your death. It's basic but it sounds like fun to me. Edit: well I guess I'm not the only one with that idea.
I could totally see this working in a BTB - XL as a mobile spawn point, such as where when you spawn, you can hop into a TP attached to a vehicle if it has been spawned.
A cool idea would be to make two big ships that are controlled by players and interiors for each ship that are in their own little area and have attached teleporters to teleport players outside of the ships. That way you don't just fly the ship and immediately kill everyone inside
What about welding blocks together after you have them layed out how you want, to reduce object count? Like they would become 1 object, and wouldn't be able to unweld once welded?
Imagine somebody making a flood infection map in forge and they put the teleporter behind the car but its part flood infected and players spawn out of it trying to infect other players.
Unfortunately I believe dynamic entities like vehicles can't be scaled with the size tool :( I saw someone in a different forge vid try and make the wasp slightly bigger and the UI for size greyed out whenever he had it selected
@@ryatt9365 I know it's a feature, it's in the scripting system, just not sure if they removed the scripting system, just because it seems like a massive leap in the tech they're giving to users for map making
This does not work in custom games no matter what I do every single welded prefab falls apart upon loading into a custom game but it works flawlessly and Forge mode.. 😞😞
I am gonna shoot myself soon if i cant weld a somwthing to a banshee without it being a predefined size nothing is what i need it to be when i set dynamic. Its always those dumb predefined sizes when i need something scalable. I am seriously at my limit man. Cant someone just explain properly how to weld.
