Great video. I replaced the 4 shocks, but that did not help the vibration at all. I then replaced the springs which eliminated the vibration. I could not "pull" the sprigs off so placed a wire tie around the top of the spring and around my 1/2 inch breaker bar and they lifted off and on with ease. I also took off the front lower cover and placed wooden blocks under the tub to limit how much it fell when the springs were removed.

First of all - great video series! Thanks much indeed. Next - Start with removing the crossbar as it impacted my ability to get the drum high enough for the first spring. I put blocks of wood under the drum to limit the amount of drop and it helped (just watch the wires on the bottom pan). Next - These drums are HEAVY, I ended up using a nylon tie down strap over my shoulder to bear some of the weight then I could use my legs to lift vs ‘all arms’ - just hook it into the side holes near the bottom of the spring. Hope this helps others.

If you have a hard time removing the old spring you can attach the new spring to the old spring. Use a metal bar to pull up for better leverage and boom there you go. Do the same with the new spring at the bottom this time and old one at the top. Lift with you bar or whatever you have handy and ease the new one in.

Visually, they look basically the same, good or bad. The only way to know they're bad is if the washer is going out of balance and other causes are eliminated.

@@TheChensoccer Any washer will naturally vibrate some with use, it just depends on how much. If its vibrating more than you're used to, there may be a problem.
