I’m just hoping the queens screw over production and roxxxy gets 10 badges that would be hilarious

People on reddit talking about how this keeps people engaged in the season because 'anyone could win' miss that the reason we watch the show every week is to see *the journey* of how the eventual winner gets there, usually by doing well across a broad variety of challenges to show that they are the most worthy of the crown. A twist like this at the 11th hour makes a mockery of the whole format.

Only Drag Race can do an Allstars episode right before the finale that it's both filler and full of bs and riggory just to f*ck up an entire season. The way they have done this on almost every AS season it's beyond insane

Is this the worst all stars ever? At least AS1 had an all iconic cast not afraid to speak their minds. This is just torture

The episode was kind of filler. But the untucked was good focusing on the production and interviewing them. It’s nice to see the people that make the show possible behind the scenes

Why would production even want to implement the double diamond twist if the three badges twist was already recieved badly on All Stars 7 like I'm so lost in that logic

Also I wish they'd finally revolt against the studio instead of the queens and production would just end the twists so we can go back to being a show about a drag queen competition. The drama will still be there to film and use on top of the actual drag we came here to see

3:30 yeah, let any combination of vanjie/nina/gottmik win, and let jorgeous get her badges doubled, so that she as the one with most badges had the power to cut one of 5 badges girls from the top 3, so she could say "she didnt keep it gapey" and cut roxxxy. top 3 challenge is sleeping with rupaul and jorgeous wins that i watched spoilers so thats what happens

100% agreed with everything you said, these "twists" are basically guaranteeing that whoever they want to see in the finale is going to be in the finale and get the crown (ignoring the fact that for example Queens like Roxxxy, Plastique or Angeria been killing this season) anyways hope they never use this kinds of stunts to crown who they want in any future season, and also I usually don't complain about an episode but yeah this episode was by far the most filler episode in any season of Drag Race, they could easily make it a regular episode with the finale included or even release the 2 episodes the same day, like they do with the premieres.

One of the comments I seem to recall echoed about AS7 was that people wanted it to be more like Mario Party. We didn't have any stars stolen this season, but it does feel a bit more "random" with the extra badges thrown about. Random is in quotation marks because obviously production will have their favorites they want to push to the final 3. I'm just waiting for Roxxxy to finally snatch the crown.

The one thing I HATE about this season is the way production arranged shit to screw up the show's format in itself. I HATE the "everyone has a chance to get to the finale" well Mary, this is a COMPETITION, and there is CLEARLY a top 3 competition-wise (Angeria, Roxxxy and Plastique, in case you needed clarification), so why do a whole 10 episode season if you're leaving the whole result to a SINGLE RANDOM TWIST. The top 3 will be whoever wins the voting thing + the top 2 of the variety show. Also, what is this final twist? You're literally asking the queens to give someone else a higher shot at the crown.

Im just hoping this twist wont screw plastique over. She dlayed that season so hard its insane. Couldve (and sometimes shouldve) been top 2 in most episodes amd her runways are next level

At this point production surely believes that making people mad by ruining seasons gives them the engagement they want. Because why else would they ruin seasons over and over again? Anyways I really hope the queens screw production, Roxxxy wins the talent, the diamond and the season with 16 badges and Plastique makes top 3 because she’s the one that deserves it the most.

I just know some producer somewhere was like “but what if a queen has no badges by the end, then we can’t say its all to play for?!” And some other producer thought of this and they all cheered and gave them a slap on the back like “what a twist, the children will live hunty queens”

I’ve “complained” before about how I don’t see filler the same way you do but this was literally undeniably filler, they could’ve just presented the twists and move on to the finale I was so confused as to why the episode was going so slow

Imma say it again, WOW loves dropping the ball going into the finale, when it comes to momentum that is. I hope you still make a "who should have won as9". Your takes are way more refreshing than some of the same content makers who just repeat what the editors already told us. 👀👀👀

And the thing is, if the diamond is given to 1 of four queens/half of the cast (Roxxxy, Nina, Vanjie, Gottmik), it won't even matter or affect anything (just like the snippers). Since Roxxxy is already on the top 3 by default (good for her!) and the other 3 would only get to the top3 if they win the variety show, regardless of the diamond (with diamond=6 bageds, without it=5 bagdes=automatically in the top3). The diamond would only impact the competition if it were given to someone with 3/4 badges, but no one would do that strategically speaking (only if they go by "oh, I think this person deserves the top3 spot", which is fair but is shooting on your foot if you're competing).

Mario Party Typa Twist. Throwing bonus stars in at the end and renderingh the entire game pointless. Idk how to feel about it

A talent show should be top two only with each queen voting for which act they preferred. They just cannot vote for themselves

Yet, the fans will still says this was one of their top 3 favorite seasons. Everyone on twitter is like “The episodes before the finale are always rigged!!!!” but like the episodes before the finale in reg seasons don’t completely diminish all the episodes prior to the finale??? The entire season is pointless if half of the finalists can be decided the day before when they had 0 badges.

I think the Double Diamond twist could be fine (at least better than the AS3 Jury Twist) since it allows the queens themselves to essentially choose 1 person who they think should be in the Finale. But 3 badges for Talent Show should've never happened once let alone twice now. The fact that they also said the Double Diamond winner will be revealed AFTER the talent show is production saying "Yeah, it's all rigged!" Since they can manipulate the badge count in choosing the talent show winners to make sure any combination of queens they want is in the finale. Since Roxxxy is the only one with 5 badges, I don't think she's not making Top 3. (There has to be a hint of 'fairness' to not upset viewers too much. Although I think Plastique technically has done the best overall, but likely won't make the Top 3. Also she has won the least money despite winning the most.) One of the 2-badge queens will make it into the finale for shock value and to say "see, it's anyone's game!" And then someone else in the middle, probably Angie or Jorgeous.

Why do I feel like the top three queens will be Roxxxy, Angeria, and Plastique or Vangie. Based on this assumption I can def see production being shady and crowning Plastique (since she has earned the lowest amount of money for her charity and winning the final lip sync + $200K will put a nice bow on her storyline) Vangie since she’s lowkey been given an underdog edit besides Shannel. Also because the fan base adores her. Roxxxy winning is super predictable and rightfully deserved but production might not want a predictable ending. Angeria is my personal pick to win but I doubt they’ll crown her. She did well in the competition but her on-going beef w/Roxxxy felt like priority.

criteria for judging a talent show: entertainment value, skills showed, charisma, creativity, originality etc. like come on stop acting like you can't compare different talents

These twists r unbelievably unoutrageous that unless smth accidentally goes viral, the show isn’t doing anything good. Fans have not been invested in this season so if we pretend that the top 3 r all non-frontrunners, I don’t think the shows getting that much attention.

Please please please watch season 15💙💙 you won’t regret it is the best season in a long time
