@@willycheez7218 people only even consider that an idea because of just mkleo. An honestly higher honor, being so good any character you play is placed a tier higher on tier lists.

@@williamle1884 I thought that way before Leo was getting results. Unless you're a zoner, Diddy or potentially Sephiroth, you just can't fight this character. No character can take them head on and while Sephiroth can match their range he dies at 0 to basically any of their attacks. Can't wall them out with projectiles (or banana peel)? Too bad, you're getting walled out yourself. It has nothing to do with Leo (he does agree with me though), stop downplaying characters by default just because a good player plays them. Maister makes Game and Watch look good but Maister is just good himself, G&W is now low tier

@@willycheez7218 even though you are typically going to space, all of byleths stuff is still unsafe on shield, so something like running up close to byleth before byleth can land will still be a very viable option vs their walling, assuming they are in the air. Their moves are typically too slow to trade and too much lag to mash, and this is just referring to super close neutral. The real issue comes from movement, which you might argue that byleth's range makes movement less relevant for byleth, its less about byleth avoiding stuff, rather its more about byleth chasing stuff, as moving forward, especially vs a fast character, puts byleth at risk of mis spacing, while not allowing him to be fast enough to pressure with his nair or grabs. This makes it so that while byleth is very good at walling, once the wall is broken, or the opponent is the one running away(different from walling) byleth has a very difficult time not making mistakes. Characters that are built to be able to get in fast and run away faster are huger threats to byleth than you would otherwise think from mkleo being insanely good at playing byleth. Also gnw is really good with decent air speed, a multihit disjointed combo starter that's safe on shield, a frame 3 invis up b, grabs that go into 40% combos, and an amazing ledge game featuring strong edgeguarding with bair, ledge trapping with bacon and big disjointed hitboxes, and the input difficulty of Kirby games, gnw can be a nightmare for some characters. He still sucks vs disjoints though.

Some of those could’ve been avoided with better DI 😣

Byleth has always been in the high tier range... just not at the top of high tier or even mid high teir, but hes definitely there.

That's not good, because then people will insist on the fact that Leo is carried by the character, just like they did with Joker, who also wasn't considered top tier before Leo picked it up.

Right after connecting an up-b, you have to hit jump, close to but before the time Byleth does the footstool. You lose your air jump but can air drift more freely and actually land certain follow-ups like down-air at low and high percentages (like in the video) and up-air at really high percentages. You otherwise get sent away from your opponent and can only land back air or side-b at certain percentages.

@@josearmandovilla1137 yea that’s the main problem I have. If I think I’m about to hit the down air I always footstool first or it just comes out super slow and I miss. I usually just go for the back air or side b since I always get punished whiffing the down air lol

Nahh it’s too early to call him the No. 2. When Marss won Genesis 7 it didn’t make him the best player but a high contender. I believe it’s the same with Tweek’s victory over Leo at summit. But if tweek keeps playing the way he is than he can definitely dethrone Leo

@@kajin2422 haha nah, Mars is maybe no.10, maybe. But he wouldn't be no. 1 simply via exchange of properties. It simply emphasized how Leo is mortal. After that, Leo still had impressive victories, but after being convincingly walloped my Tweek a few days ago? Keep in mind Tweek has been getting the one up over Leo their past match-ups, but this year's summit 6 - 0 thought out the entire tournament, (I wont lie, I only watch GRAND FINALS, so I believe it was 6 -0) yeah, safe to say no one is better than Tweek at the moment.

@@Kenji.95 I mean that’s true, but did u watch the first day of summit? Tweek got absolutely bodied by Aaron and Aaron won a 3-0 using Diddy against Tweek’s Diddy as a ditto match up. Not only that but Tweek was under performing the first night and even lost a set to Sparg0 day 1 of summit. Whereas you look at Leo, and he did not drop a single set the WHOLE tournament, besides to Tweek. Meaning out of the 16 people at the event Leo only lost two sets, to the SAME person. Also Leo was able to clutch it during The USA vs the WORLD crew battle where Leo only had 3 stocks and had to fight Kola’s Roy with 2 stocks and Dark Wizzy’s Mario with 3 stocks. And Leo only lost one stock while taking out the remaining 5 ! All in all what I’m saying is that Leo is not down for the count, and I still believe he’s the best in the world. Tweek can definitely come up tho and take that title away from him.

@@kajin2422 While all that is true, and MkLeo has been no. 1 for so long, it's hard to considering him anything but. Yes, Tweek might have had a rought run, I guess, but why should that matter, if he has been coming in 1st the past few months? I guess it's a matter of what stretch of time we're considering in order to appropriate their place in the ladder. All time in competitive Ultimate, hands down Le is the best. Since Ultimate has resumed, Tweek's been winning everything, and Summit really set him apart. Yes, he lost games to Aaron (which I'm sure Tweek has taken sets from him 9 times of 10) and Sparg0. but it's not necessarily how flawless your run is, as when it most counts, winning it all has to be the ultimate (no pun intended) triumph, especially, has to be emphasized again, trouncing the only person competing for the no. 1 spot in such fashion. If it was Aaron or Sparg0 in Grand finals, it's no doubt still Tweek is the better overall player, though Sparg0 is till exceptional.

@@Kenji.95 yeah I get what you mean I also know that 9 times out of 10 Tweek would crush Aaron but it was just worth noting. All I’m saying is that it’s still a bit too early to make accusations cause who knows maybe next tournament Leo will 3-0 Tweek and then we will be having this conversation later on. But anyways it doesn’t matter I personally think that Tweek is better currently atm but I’m sure that Leo will catch up in a heart beat so that’s why I’m hesitant to say Tweek is No.1 after 1 win. But then again I’m open to Tweek being the best player I just personally think Leo is still the best as he also like Sparg0, won every tournament he had offline except summit (being SWT and MSM). But still I’m open to things changing just giving u my thoughts
