FINALLLLLLYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!! FINALLY someone shows how to wire subs to box to get the ohms you want! I was looking to get 2ohm final impedance with 2 dvc 2ohm subs without drilling a hole inside the box to connect the subs. Thank youuuuuuuuu
Thank you! I have been trying to find a video for months to find out what I was doing wrong. You are the only one I've found the broke it down in this way, explaining the box terminals as well as the two sets of terminals on the amp. I will subscribe not knowing any other videos you've made just to help your channel.
Finally a video explaining my exact setup. Most videos doesn't cover a typical vehicle specific box with the 2 separate terminal so I was racking my brain trying to figure out how that was gonna work. Of course u should always hit it with a voltage meter before going to the amp but this took the guess work out for me!

Great video! After looking up many different wiring guides and videos. This one has been the most clear. Really helped out how you explained wiring it to two separate terminal cups on the box.
I need a final impedance of two ohms and I don't want to damage anything I want to be safe than sorry obviously. But I have two speaker terminals on my box with two dual voice coil subs How do I wire those to have a final impedance of two ohms with two terminals. Or would I just have to cancel one and use the other If that makes any sense at all. Sorry I am green to this.
Question. If I run 2x 2d subs. One wired 4ohm other 1ohm. Bringing it down with a parallel connection which should be 0.8 ohms. Will one sub get more then the other. Not much into ohms law. Please help
You keep “saying into the speaker box”. The speakers go in the speaker box. Don’t you mean “the amplifier” ? It’s not making any sense like this. Where is the amp? Lol
He is talking about the wires from the speakers to the connectors that the box has on the inside. Then you hook wires to the terminal connectors outside the box to the amplifier. Some prefab enclosures have terminals, some do not, to keep the box completely sealed tight except for the port.
