Thanks bro !!!this makes everything much easier and cleaner . I was trying to wire those same headlights in a whole different way but didn’t work . I tried your method and worked right away 🔥🙏🏽💯
You said " don't turn on your headlights with the protective film on because it would melt"...then you test the lights with the protective film attached lol. Either way, good video bro, now I got an idea how I want to install mine.
I cut off my drl sockets (i put blinkers) can I wire this to the drl wires? Where I cut the sockets off? I just want them light up during the day, not at night or all the time.
Okay so I went to to see your old video when you installed your diy led strip and seen how you hooked them up but that really just showed how you got power the the bumper lights how did you get power to the headlights the same way?
@@MarioZermeno indeed. Most people say do a retro but never owned them. They are so good with hid bulbs doing a retro makes no sense. Hopefully the projector you swap it with is an oem hid projector like a s2000 or tl or something from Stanley kioto. Morimoto units are ok but mini h1 will not be better than whatever depo put in there
Mine snap out the bottoms left turn signal in cracked you know where I can get another want new or use mine is a smoke or you have a friend the sell them in separately?
Good video man. I’m new to the channel. I subscribed hoping for more awesome content. Lee up the good work. How did you get the fog lights mine are rectangle ish. I like the round look
Thanks for the sub man, hopefully you’ll find something new to do on your truck. So it’s a valance switch out off a Chevy Tahoe Z71 and they have the round fog lights
So i did the same exact thing you did and only thing that works for them to turn on is by tapping into the blinker, idk wtf is going on but im probably gonna try to return these pos headlights
I would give it one more shot.they are awesome headlights. Test them to the battery first. Then if possible use a test light to find the best power wire that turns off with the truck
They are HID bulbs. If you don’t know about HID it’s a whole different animal.(maintenance wise) But they are 6K OPT7 brand which are Discontinued. But there are a few other brands that offer them.
Curious question did you ever get pulled over or got a fix it ticket for having those? Because I'm thinking of getting these aswell but with the orange amber turn signal
anyone else having a problem where the headlights face too high up? i can’t figure out why and whenever i lock my headlights in place it feels tight and there’s a big gap between the headlight and bumper
get a set of high and low beams from tiny monster get the 10k lumen bulbs. You will not be disappointed. Make it so your lows stay on when you turn on your highs and damn you can see far far. 40,000 lumens at that point when i have my high beams on
I think start with rechecking connections on them if not then grab your voltmeter and make sure their getting 12v and if they are and not working then I think contacting the sellers
Hmm, I haven’t ran across a wiring problem like that. For you I would take your DLR wires and tie them into your fog lights or corner lights. If that don’t work just tap them in with your headlights
Sounds like you ran it into the automatic DRL circuit, rather then the park light circuits like in the video, makes it so that when the headlights come on the DRL goes off. Default behavior for this style of vehicle. Wire them into your turn signals rather then the DRL
Btw, I figured out if instead of turning the socket clockwise , turn it counterclockwise and it will lock on better so I don’t have that problem anymore. But still a issue that needs to be fixed

Just wired mine up and the issues I had were that the High beam bulb didn’t fit and the signal light bulb didn’t fit either. But I’ll give it an 9/10 ima see if the bar LED’s last long
@@David-gn3tq I got rid of them tbh not worth the money. They looked awesome but on the bumper lights they weren’t sealed properly and so humidity got into them and messed up the LED
I got lights just like these and I tapped the headlight tube lights into the parking lights, and the parking light tubes as blinkers. My headlight parking lights will stay on for about 20 mins and then they blow their 10amp fuse?? There isn't any short that I can find, and the truck's electrical system Isn't acting funny either. Literally everything works fine until about 20 mins and then the fuse blows
