Great tutorial, but I have a strange issue. I wanted to upgrade my single toggle light switch to a push rocker switch (Leviton Decora). After removing the single toggle switch I notice it has only two screws with two black wires attached to one screw and one red wire attached to the second screw. what gives? But the replacement Leviton has 3 screws (one for grounding of course) how should I connect the wires to the new push rocker switch when the old one never had a grounding screw? Should I connect the same as the original toggle-two blacks one screw and the red to the other? Thanks in advance if anyone has the answer.

If you have an older house, your switch box itself is probably grounded. Take a look if it has a screw or a wire going to it. If there is one, then you’re fine connecting just the other 2 wires.

What if you forget how the black wires go? how do you know which wire goes where? does it even matter? I already know the answer but you don't go into the detail of what and how all the wires really go.

Old Houses Does Not Have A Ground But Newer Houses Requires A Ground.

4:01 NEVER USE THOSE BACKSTAB HOLES DON'T BE LAZY HOWEVER WHEN YOU KEEP THOSE SCREWS TIGHTEN DOWN THAT YOU WERE NOT USING BUT THOSE SCREWS HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE BACKSTABS.
