Networking two Lowrance Elite Ti2s couldn't be much easier. In a matter of minutes you can start sharing waypoints, maps and sonar.

Hey guys great video. Do you know if this work with the older Ti models? Also are you still going to upload a video about the Cmaps? Keep up the good work!

The Dewude - I don’t think the Ti has this capability unfortunately. I believe there is screen mirroring onto tablets and phones, but not data sharing between the two. As for the CMAP stuff, definitely still on the cards - been trying to research and ask some questions directly to the Navico guys to make sure all the info is right before shooting. Stay tuned!

No networking of any kind is available on any hook units. However you can link any unit (Lowrance or other brands) that have NMEA 2000 network compatibility. You will need a starter kit for 2 units to connect them.

Great video and explanation ... does it work the same if you use Navionics +? Also, do I only require the Navionics chip in the base unit? Lastly, when connected to 2 Ti2's do I have to use the sonar from the base unit or can I still use the sonar from the trolling motor?

G'day Don, that's a good question about the Navionics. I believe the map sharing shouldn't be limited to CMAP Genesis and should work for other charts as well, that said I haven't tried it! And you can definitely select which Sonar data you want to run from your units - that should be something you can configure in the settings.
