GLOBAL ATM is at Incheon Airport when you arrive. i have used my capital one visa card and taken out 1 million won.

I tend to use the visa and mastercard atm locator for Korea KB Kookmin comes up for Mastercard and Shinhan for visa, I would also suggest telling your bank you are going to Korea before you leave. Also be mindful of ATM fees taking small amounts often may cost you more.

Hey can I ask ? When you withdraw the money, only the fee 3600 KRW is charged from your account? Does the exchange rate match the rate on the current market or there is a percentage (maybe 5%) taken from the amount?

Hi, For the charge i couldnt remember it but for exchange rate, it's match with the current condition.

Yes it is okay. The will deduct money as the currency rate and perhaps some administration fee.

They prefer to use Korean Won in every CASH transaction. So it will be better if we convert our dollar to be Korean won. In video I used debit card. Honestly I did not know the ATM would work with credit card or not. But your credit card will be acceptable in almost all Korean merchant which has EDC machine (swipe machine; with VISA and MASTER CARD LOGO)
