Love Love this tutorial, you are simply AMAZING!!! You have taught me so much! I'm just in the stage of watching videos, I have watched a ton of videos but yours are so helpful. Thanks so much!
Oh god. You’re so informative. I love your tumbler videos so so much. Can we see crackle tumbler soon! 😃 also! Despite already torching my tumbler, I still get bubbles 2-4hours later, even though when I left it spinning it looks clear like glass! ☹️
Fyi weighing out epoxy on a scale is not a consistent measurement technique. Many epoxy brands the A and B parts weigh different. Due to the thickness one part is heavier than the other for the same amount of volume. So if you are weighing them the amounts will be off and can make your epoxy very tacky.
Can you go over how you clean your top rim after doing your epoxy. I'm always fearful that I won't have a good seal on the rim and moisture will get under the epoxy
Great tutorial!! Thank you! Question, are you ever concerned about getting the spray enamel inside the cup where we drink? I assume it’s pretty toxic. How do you avoid it going inside the cup when spraying? Thanks so much!!
I love your video I’m new to this and getting ready to do my first. But in watch your videos you mentioned you use different epoxy for different types. So was wondering if you can let use know the difference of the epoxy to be better educated on which to use.
wanda sanchez In my opinion Pro Marine is the easiest to work with. It moves easy and gets a beautiful glassy finish. I use Art works or Counter Culture DIY because it has a higher heat threshold and no VOC both of which are awesome. It is MUCH thicker and can be difficult to apply due to how thick it is and it is expensive.
Love love love your videos. My question is: should I use the heat torch after applying each layer of epoxy or just the last one? Thank you for your response.
I love your cups! I have been following you from the VERRRYY Beginning! I don"t have facebook so I catch you on here when you post a new video.. I love to see you grow your subscribers! I was going to add some tutorials on my channel but then my anxiety kicked in and I deleted them all :( I have been wanting to try a wood grain cup I think they will sell QUICK!! But nervous .. What color Alcohol Ink was this .. Maybe I missed it? I also have little ones running around.. TWINS ! Not triplets lol Also where did you find this decal? I love it! On a side note I hope you are able to fix your home... I have been through it before but my insurnce was very quick and the workers. We were camping for 3 weeks only thank god!
Omg i was just going to ask you for a tutorial about alcohol ink, i did one but when I applied the epoxy the color change i think the problem was that I didn’t seal the cup 🤦🏻♀️
Do you always recommend the hang method when first layers of epoxy or could use your turner ? I also think cooper vinyl would look beautiful on the cup bye for now Eileen.
This is the best tutorial I have ever watched, you are amazing and your work is amazing. The decal you used is it one you made or can I get it off the internet or etsy.
Can you do a video on cost vs profit in doing these cups please. I would love to know estimates of supplies and labor vs actual sell prices. Awesome video.
I am TOTALLY working on a full business plan for tumbler makers. It is intense and will take awhile for me to get it all smoothed out.It will have launch programs and such. Igo live frequently and do Live Qand A's to guide anyone in my group how to start up
In the bee cup video, you referenced Minwax wood stains as a good alternative to alcohol inks. What colours specifically would you recommend for a nice woodgrain effect? Thanks.
Kasee Moon I bought this one on Etsy and it is awesome. Super good quality. Go on Etsy and search Protisserie that is his shop. It is a really great price for the high quality that it it
@@LittleLeeandRose I just ordered one, and I sent him a message saying you recommended it. I can't wait to get started!! Thank you for all the awesome videos!!
I keep getting fish eyes or huge “dry spots” when I epoxy any alcohol ink. I rub these spots like you do in the video but they never go away. How long do you wait after you seal your ink to epoxy? Thanks
I have changed to provide marine and I am having soo many air bubbles...what am I doing wrong .. got a woodgrain with 4 layers and still air bubbles. . Can I strip some of the poxy off and redo ?
We received cups for Christmas with our names on them just vinyl on basic cups. Now the names are starting to peel back on the edges. Is there anything I can do to stop it.
Joy Cortinas What a bummer! But you can save it! You have two choices. Use dishwasher safe modpodge and let cure 30 days before using again. Or epoxy it! Modpodge isn’t shiny epoxy is
@@LittleLeeandRose thank you so much for your advice and I will try epoxy because I love the shine and I love your videos and want to try some of your ideas.
Debbie DeShong if you don’t have a turner or the ones u have are all full it’s a good lotto keep cups moving forward. It’s also super useful when you want just a VERY thin coat. Like in this tutorial I don’t want a thick heavy coat over the first color of wood.
Penchi Oso yes using syringes will definitely help you. Just label them a and B and don’t mix them up! No need to wash them if you only use a with A and b with b.
I've been having a hard time with the epoxy on my wood grain, it seems to pull away in random areas creating an "eye" is there anything you recommend to prevent this?
Amalia Perez I had the same problem. Turns out the humidity in my basement ( where I work on tumblers) was around 70-75 %. I got a dehumidifier and I no longer have the issue anymore.
LittleLee and Rose so I attempted this last night it and turned out beautifully after the second color. The clear enamel turned it green but it never went back to the original color. Do you know what I did wrong? I used the ginger, not the latte.
LittleLee and Rose I’ve figured out what I did wrong... lol I didn’t put the matte clear enamel between the second and third color ink. I used the same one in your video but I completed a another Tumbler a little while ago and it worked!!
@@aryllwren228 alright thanks, i bought tim holtz 3 pack and it has caramel, ginger and latte in it and ive heard alot of people say not to use the latte color because it turns green and doesnt change back and that is when someone recommended this video because she used the same colors but heck with just the one color it looks amazing!!!
Creative Jumble I bought this turner from Protisserie on Etsy! He is very reasonably priced for how bad a$$ this turner is! Just search Protisserie and his Etsy shop will pop up!
Some people say oh just put another layer over the top. That is incorrect. Having the tacky layer and if you buy the locks the Apoxsee from dripping the cap cordat some people say oh just put another layer over the top. That is incorrect. Having the tacky layer underneath makes the cup way less durable
