I just filmed a wedding where literally the photographer was just standing in front of the bride and groom during ring ceremony and kiss, and my video literally just has her standing in front of them , I also took videos from the side , but the head is absolutely ruined
If possible, try having the two side angle shots locked on and then you float with a cam. This will allow you to get crowd reactions and unique angles. Then when a photographer is up in center for the ring and kiss, you stand right next to them so you don’t miss it. This is what I do when solo shooting, it’s saved me a ton of frustration. Just be bold when floating, I go where ever I want at this point and you can get some amazing angles when you just go for it.
