The best of luck with your exam tomorrow!!! Let me know how it goes 🍀🍀
Hi! Your videos are very helpful. Can I check what is the word order that we are using in email writing? For example, I am writing to request a quotation. "I am writing" is the subject? "To request" is the verb? And "a quotation" is the object? Appreciate if you could clarify this. Thanks
Great work! Now, with due respect, IMHO, "what was it all about", should be "what it was all about", and there's one more example, I think. Subordinates are so often a nightmare...! Thanks a lot for your help!
Hi Monica, It's really amazing to practise English with all your resources. Indeed, I would like to ask you about if there was a possibility to write also the answer of your complaining letter as an example. Due to the fact that it is a requirement as well. Thanks. 😁

You are right Montse, I will give it some thought. Cheers
Hi Mónica, the last complaint I wrote was about last year's First Certificate Exam. Thus, I should nag whoever about whichever more often by reason of acing my CAE the next very month😂. Thanks for sharing these convenient tips! ❤
@MonicaRedondoArias Monica, are we allow to use let down as in the example? Isn't that a phrasal verb, explicity forbidden in formal writings?

Hi there, it’s true that it’s a phrasal but if you look closely that phrasal is used in a passive sentence, so the informality is kind of cancelled by the passive structure.
Thank you a bunch! You have given us the most powerful tips to write a perfect complaint letter. Now it's up to us to find inspiration just at the moment when we have a blank sheet in front of us while the clock is ticking. 😅

The good thing with these kind of letters Cristina, is that you don't really need so much inspiration, as it's more a matter of "memorising" the phrases. In other types of texts (narrative, informal emails, etc), it's more about being creative and more flexible, but formal writings are easier in the sense that if you learn by heart all these expressions and phrases, you have 80% of the writing done. Isn't that amazing?

Anyway, thanks for letting me know!
Creo que lo leí en la descripción del video, pero puede ser una mala traducción (automática al español) porque creo que la descripción la pusiste en ingles...
