USCIS can request letters from friends and family in marriage based cases. The quality of the letter is more important than the quantity! The letters need to give details on how they know you and your spouse, how you spend time together, and give examples!

Hello. I am at the last stage of this Citizenship process. I have had my Interview and passed. However they require more evidence and I am going to send in notarized affidavits along with more evidence. How many affadavits do you suggest should be sent in?

USCIS has provided information about affidavits here: www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-7-part-a-chapter-4 As I stated in the video, in my opinion it is not the number of affidavits you provide but the quality of each one.

What if your spouse lives out of the country and has only had phone interactions with your family and friends?

You can submit any evidence to show your marriage was entered into for love and not for an immigration benefit. Letters are not required.

Hi! Are affidavits from foreign parents outside the US okay? Or the affidavits have to be from people living in USA?!

USCIS gave some guidance here: www.uscis.gov/policy-manual/volume-7-part-a-chapter-4 Part 3.B gives guidance about what the affidavit states
