I'm watching your videos in 2023. They seem afresh but one thing I regret is the absence of practical examples of all this stuff. However, these videos are extremely helpful and engaging
I've subscribed yesterday and still amazed that you don't have more subs and views, your content is certainly engaging, have great camera presence/personality, add on top nice thumbnails, and even if people already know how to Copywrite or aren't interested you still have this you can do it vibe that gives one a push. Now don't get me wrong 60k is still pretty cool, u can fill theaters with these numbers but still, I feel that u should have more recognition.
This is a very important part ! My brother sent me the video about this ! But different video but about customer avatar. How to create body copy for customer . I kept watching it couple times to understand it .
Learned so much from this single video. 😍You have rolled tons of information in one video - from how to onboard a client to communicating and getting all the details from them. I'm sure if we ask our clients so much, they'll be amazed at our approach and trust us more for their sales page. Thank you for this video!! Want more like this! 💛
Somehow when I read your emails I can LITERALLY hear your voice in my head. Excellent conversational writing. ETA: Just finished watching... This is awesome content! Thank you, Alex.
Campaign context is so important. You said the last thing you want is a disconnect in your messaging or for a prospect to feel mislead. This happened to me recently. I got a Facebook ad from you Alex. Actually, I got 3 of them--all promoting your write & ignite challenge. In your FB ad geared towards entrepreneurs, you wrote that "it can be hard to find a copywriter you can rely on to write a sales page in the time and budget you want... And if you do find one, they often don't take the time to deeply understand your brand voice and mission... Which means, after thousands of dollars and countless hours, you're left with a sales page that doesn't even sound like you!!" Then you propose entrepreneurs write their own sales pages. I thought your brand was to empower beginning copywriters with the skills to be successful in the business. But your ad copy, geared towards getting the money from entrepreneurs, who are likely not up-and-coming copywriters, has quite a negative attitude towards copywriters. It's apparently hard to find a reliable one who will do the research on a brand and business to deliver a quality sales page to the client. I'm not mad at you for trying to expand your audience and profits, but not on my back. And not on the backs of the many, many, MANY skilled, professional and creative copywriters I know. You're right about many things in this video, including that a disconnect can turn a prospect or customer away forever. Because that's what your FB ad did for me. I have lost all respect for you as a professional and do not trust your brand whatsoever.
Hey Erica - wow! I'm speechless. I'm so sorry you feel that way. I stand completely behind what I said though! Many copywriters DON'T take the time to understand your brand voice and mission - and often overcharge for shitty work. I'm sorry but that's the truth. That's WHY I started the Copy Posse. To help train copywriters on the RIGHT WAY to do things and to help entrepreneurs find great copywriters. There are a lot of douchey copywriters out there. I know because I've HEARD this from many entrepreneurs and business owners and have hired a few myself. That doesn't negate the fact that there are plenty of AMAZING copywriters out there. Just like in any industry! With that being said, I am ALL FOR entrepreneurs writing their own sales pages if they can't afford a copywriter, because what I am teaching helps them too! Anyway, I don't need to defend myself or my mission. Just because I empower copywriters doesn't mean I can't empower business owners too. I stand in integrity, always - and TEACH copywriting to whoever needs it. I'm sorry that you're taking this so personally. Thanks for your opinion, though. I'll take it to heart.
Just popping back in here to let you know I've been reflecting on this a lot - like a lot. More than any normal person would lol. While my intention was in no way to offend or downplay copywriters (obviously, I am one! lol), I can see how someone might take it that way without knowing the full context of what I meant. So while I do believe entrepreneurs can and should definitely write their own sales page if they can't afford a copywriter, and that there are a lot of copywriters out there who don't f'ing get it, I don't want to add to that narrative. I've chatted with my ad team to turn off those ads. I appreciate your candour and transparency, Erica!
@@AlexCattoni Alex, i don't think anything you've said in the add or your video wrong. There are a lot of shitty copywriters and I've been one of them for quite a while. I started a couple of my own blogs/websites and I had to improve to make profits. Your videos have been quite a help. You are not taking anyone's profits. If someone is not good he or she will be replaced that's nature and that's how it should be. You shouldn't give Erica's comments so much value. Keep up your good work.
Firstly you look so pretty ☺️ your detailed jewelry and top then thank out so muchhh I have been binge watching, so give so much value and you're so you Thank you thank you❤️🙂
I’m so excited for the Write&Ignite Challenge! Due to work, I probably won’t be able to join live, but the community already is so wonderful and certainly will help maintain momentum without the live streams :)
I am from India. Yesterday only I discovered you and fell in love with you and of course yourcontent. I must say you are working hard on your videos particularly editing coz I am also a create and know the pain of creating videos. Kudos.
You are sooo good. After watching a few videos and saving them to my library, it totally made sense to move on your offer. I just signed up. Thank you for making this valuable info affordable 🤩
Hey Alex, can you also explain about communicating Change in organization as a communication manager. What tone of message, checklist and types of communication should be sent out with right graphics, presentations , visuals etc
@@AlexCattoni corporate culture members of around 5 employees with management giving updates of specific news, no one knows about anything in your company, writing on a white board ,video on updates 20min. To create better communication with management bring closure together within the organization, can be achieved differently with employee support going in front of the camera, partying,,headquarters ,off the field of corporate culture, volunteering, hobbies, conferences, cost savings incentives
Hi Alex, hope you're doing well. A quick question, this checklist is amazing, but how can we ask so much questions if, it may need weeks to do this much research. don't you think, it can bother the client too. what can we do in that case?
@@AlexCattoni thanks for your reply, and for this amazing content. I want to join your ignite challenge, after your RU-vid library. But the quality and detailing in your content may take a year to absorb, when someone like me started with seeds.
Hey Alex.. love ur videos.. they are a great help. I have a request. Could u please show us how u would write an ad or sales page or anything on any hypothetical product
Hey Alex, I was wondering is it okay to write a "sample" sales page to put in my portfolio? I want to write a sales page and I actually have a great idea for it but I am a beginner and don't have a client yet. I do have a business on the side that I could write a sales page for - which would give me a ton of creative freedom to write a great piece. Would this be okay to do? haha, thanks!!
I've been watching lots of content searching for a teacher...my search is over. I'm upset I just missed your last class....it was like 3 days ago...smh
