I think Petshop and White Album might be able to take on B.I.G. Freezing things removes energy from an area so their powers wouldn't set off the energy absorption.

About broken OP stands that don't get enough credit, I would like to see an episode about cheap trick. He was beaten only because of Ghost Girl's Alley, if it wasn't for this specific place, Rohan would be most likely dead, even tho he has one of the most OP stands. I believe that if DIO knew about this stand, he could use it to kill all of the crusaders.

I wonder what the interaction between B.I.G. and WOU is. Obviously it's pursuing Tooru or the Stand and would be affected by calamity, but what sort of calamity would be enough to actually stop it? Like at some point, does calamity just open a hole to the center of the earth or shoot it into space?

Its weakness is its inability to pass through solid objects. Toss a moving object into a box, shut the lid, and seal it shut. In theory, you don’t even need a stand to be able to deal with it if you know what you’re getting into. This is an easy task for the SCP foundation. Euclid or maybe low Keter at best.

A rare case of an infamous stand who's master is one of the most forgettable users.

Notorious B.I.G is they type that you need either a highly specific counter or something massively overtuned like existence erasure to be able to deal with it. It's like Yellow Temperance, at least in the same way Cream and The Hand are similar for both deleting things they touch, or how Killer Queen and Boku no Rhythm wo Kiitekure both have the ability to make explosives but with small yet significant differences in how they go about that. Both BIG and YT are mostly indestructible amorphous masses that consume whatever they touch, but the difference is YT had a living user to provide intelligence and direction. Funnily enough, the user was also considered YT's weakness in that fight since the stand itself was something Jotaro had no way of effectively combating. BIG's user is already dead and it runs on autopilot, so it's pretty much a question of "could they beat Yellow Temperance _without_ targeting Rubber Soul?" and if the answer's no then they can't "win" here either, at least in terms of destroying the stand; it's just a question of outwitting it to escape.

I honestly wish Trish had more badass fight scenes like the one against the Notorious B.I.G. I think Araki should have made her a fighter since the duels against Risotto's gang.

Someone help me fact check this idea: I assume Notorious B.I.G. eats things that move, but you can still touch it, right? Kira can position himself to a spot where his hands come into contact with BIG while it touches something fast, like Sheer Heart Attack or a bubble from Stray La Creatura. That or turn a coin into a bomb and let BIG catch it and transfer the boom? I think it would have to be so precise that his thumb moves slower than the momentum of the coin getting touched. Also if the explosion is controlled, like maybe the fizzle type of explosion that Kira did with one of his "girlfriends", maybe that's enough of a controlled explosion to kill BIG?

We see a peice of it get destroyed by spice girl though. The idea being that something slow yet strong could break it. Mista kiled Carne and B.I.G never kills mista. Its always possible that it had an ability that could revive its user after killing the user's killer.

Notorious B.I.G is actually beatable by a method used in the previous season. This method was used by Rohan Kishibe to beat Cheap Trick, i.e. going to Reimi's street and someone becoming a scape goat and turning around to face the hands. Due to it's ability it might turn around and will also get dragged away by the hands or even simpler just leave it there and quietly escape. It will forever just wander around that place never to find an escape.

Honestly my first thought when seeing this Video was. "Damn Vanilla Ice really is just the perfect counter against B.I.G. The only Weakness Vanilla Ice has in his defense is nonexistent because B.I.G. would just charge right into it and get yoinked out of existence"

Something funny though about matchups is against Wonder Of U, because of course WOU would win theres no debate, however pin an endlessly pursuing stand that cannot die against one that punishes pursuit and honestly the effect of WOU will wreck the world apart because of big's pursuit.

Crazy Diamond can revert the flow of energy, from what i can recall against Bad company, reversing explosives and redirecting them back at the source. I wonder if Crazy Diamond could make it so all the energy fed on by BIG would return to where it was before, which would casue a lot of pandemonium for sure, but could reduce the threat of BIG. Would need held form The hand afterwards to really get rid of it but i think the two could successfully counter it myself

Future video: what stands could defeat Notorious B.I.G? My takes. Avdol not, this thing seems to feed also from heat(machines, or oil?). The ice skating dude(Golden Wind), Fugo's virulent stand, The Dr with the fungus stand. The green baby(Notorious would become smaller and smaller as he tries to get slower, therefore increasing the distance). And memes apart, seriously: how could have Notorious fought Made in Heaven? Could it have eaten it?

I feel like Diver Down is underlooked, if it can reach into bodies and move stuff, couldnt it be able to, for example, tak out your heart without even using force? And if it can stuff objects into hard surfaces, would he be able to leave somone stuck inside rhe ground conoleatly?

Dio would annihilate BIG. Seriously. That vampire cold affect is absolutely slept on. He cant absorb a LACK of energy, and that is what cold is. Ghiaccio's stand literally freezing anything that touches it also makes him a top contender. I know these two wouldnt have ever fought BIG, but they'd win 10 times out of 10.

Actually, Kira would have a decent chance of destroying Notorious BIG. By releasing Sheer Heart Attack, Notorious would be spending all its time trying to destroy another indestructible Stand; this would allow Kira to slowly sneak up to Notorious and use Killer Queen to potentially atomize it with it's primary bomb. The next best option would probably be to drag it into the the mirror world with Illuso's Man in the Mirror, if only to neutralize it from attacking anything else. Alternatively, either Pet Shop's Horus or Ghiaccio's White Album could potentially do intense damage to Notorious. When Trish unlocked Spice Girl, the Stand was able to damage BIG by ramming an ordinary pole into it at a slower speed than it was moving at, destroying the fragment. With Gently Weeps, Ghiaccio can slow down molecules to the point of freezing the air itself. Trapping Notorious in ice could probably damage it just from making contact.

Thinking about White Snake's ability to take a Stand (and memories). . . what if White Snake used that ability *on* a Stand like BIG or Silver Chariot Requiem? Does the Stand without a user just become a disk?

I think Cream would be the perfect stand to counter big by simply erasing it.

I once made a list of Top 10 Strongest JoJo characters and, because it was correct, Notorious B.I.G was at number 3 only behind Causality Manipulators like Wonder of U and Love Train, tied at spot 2, and GER as number 1. Immortal, inescapable and ever-growing. Able to defeat even Kars. However, like always, there is a catch, as any cold-based ability is a hard counter to the motion and energy which are the basis of BIG's power. Horus and White Album ftw.

Either way it would solve the question of how he knows what his ability does and why he’s stuck around for so long despite seemingly only being good for suicide attacks

The Hand, Vanilla Ice, Green Tea and the Green Baby's stand could the job making it small until nothing remains. Maybe even Fugo's Puple Haze can do it with the virus.

I think there are three Stands that can definitively beat BIG: Cream, Man in the Mirror, and Tusk Act 4. Cream's ability to send material to the void should allow Vanilla Ice to attack it without risking damage in return, and thus he could defeat BIG. Man in the Mirror is a simple case. Illuso drags BIG into the mirror world and then leaves. Even if it sticks onto Illuso, it won't be able to leave the mirror world with him and thus would be trapped there, granting Illuso the win. It also seems to have a limited range on its tracking, as I'm sure planes fly over that sea all the time without getting destroyed, so it's not like Illuso is giving up his ability to use Man in the Mirror in order to beat it, either. -Tusk Act 4 is pretty self-explanatory. It's an infinite attack. BIG would latch onto one of its bullets and then be stuck in the infinite rotation. GER may or may not have the destructive power to just obliterate BIG, we literally cannot know. If it doesn't, then that match is a stalemate. Go Beyond could destroy BIG if it was still weak. The bubbles technically don't exist so BIG wouldn't be able to track onto them. They also have good enough destructive power that they might be able to totally get rid of a solid chunk of it. However, after a certain point, BIG would just be too, well, big to be affected.

The photo stand of Kira's father could possibly trap BIG. The stand doesn't make contact and traps the enemy in a separate chunk of "space."

I think the stands that can beat BIG are: - Any stand that is able to delete stuff (Vanilla Ice, maybe the Hand) - That elettrical tower trap stand can probably cage it - Tusk-4 can maybe spin it to death

If it steals energy from an engine specifically, and sees through movement, it's energy absorbtion is probably based in kinesis, or motive energy manipulation. On an aside,in your comparison with Killer Queen, you do realise that if the explosion actually went off it wouldn't leave traces of BIG, since killer queens explosions destroy all of what is affected unless kira specifcally prevents a part from being destroyed, like be does with women's hands.

The stand is made entirely out of Giorno's flesh since it sprouted from his arm, got cut off and then kept growing, it's not invisible to non stand users and it can't go through objects. Trish was able to see the stand before she had Spicegirl.

No one ever talks about white album, at first it just seems like “haha cool ice” while in reality this stand can create such cold that it can FREEZE AIR. That is remarkably busted yet no one talks about it (also its really cool)

I guess Notorious B.I.G can be defeated by another energy absorbing stand, or perhaps a freezing stand.

A couple stands that I think just by the nature of their form or the way they attack who could potentially hard-counter B.I.G. would be ones like Bastet, The Fool, Magician's Red is a BIG HUGE "if", The Hand, Yellow Temperance/Highway Star if B.I.G. being physical makes it able to be consumed, Horus/White Album, Purple Haze/Green Day, Metallica, Jumpin' Jack Flash/G.G.G.H., and M.I.H.just to keep it in the o.g. universe

Energy is such a vague term, I can’t tell if it means life force or stamina or energy as described by physics, or even fiction beam energy.

The hand and Cream definitely have the best chance here

I feel like any stand that can absolutely erase things from reality like Cream and The Hand would have a shot at being able to destroy B.I.G. so long as you were sure to completely and absolutely destroy every remaining piece

I think something worth noting is that BIG definitely *can't* simply absorb any energy it comes into contact with. It's clearly vulnerable to damage, which is on a technical level just violently transferring energy into a target such that it can't handle it while maintaining its structure. If BIG absorbed all energy that it contacted, it would be impossible to even harm it, as it'd just absorb the energy. This also means that Jotaro and DIO do actually have *a* shot at harming it, but it'd be a very specific strat. The only opportunity they'd have to hurt it is within timestop, and they'd have to be moving slower than something else as long as they're out of timestop so that BIG is distracted until they can timestop again. This also means that any stand that can hit it hard enough to damage it can *technically* kill it, but only if they can constantly have something else be going faster nearby, which most can't do. Also this property does mean you can probably just drop a nuke right on top of it and it'd just cease to exist but if it's big enough or the nuke isn't close enough to guarantee full vaporization there's always the chance of some tiny little speck surviving and going off miles away so I don't think it'd be worth risking

For me,I think the best way to defeat it is by doing what Trish did by cutting off a piece of something that N.BIG is attached to,but mix it with being in Green Day's range. N.BIG will fall and won't be able to do anything much,cuz he doesn't have anything to attached to,and while he's falling,Green Day's ability to turn anything moving down or falling into mold will be finishing it.

I think that that, in the initial stages before it can really grow, the stand might be weak to the Vampire energy draining effects of part 1 and 2 to rip all of its energy out at high speed. Once large, you might need a Pillar-men or better to take it down that way, but it would still be theoretically possible. The problem would be having the vampire survive long enough to use that trick, especially with how the Stand might manage on doing the same thing to them, but I could see it working in their favor.

What if someone started running around and dancing within Flytrap? Notorious BIG gets stuck and whenever he tries to escape it would either turn its attacks against itself of turn it into metal

assuming it can absorb an infinite amount of kinetic energy and heat energy into itself at an infinite rate, which it probably cannot do, you could still defeat it by freezing it. It seems like the stand is a physical object, and it is seems based on contact with Giorno to be around average body temperature or room temperature, stands that produce a lot of heat exist, so if there was ever a stand that froze things to death you could almost certainly use that sort of method. You might even be able to just trap it in an incredibly cold environment and freeze it in ice. If you need a solution specifically provided in the JoJo sending it into space like Kars would work just fine. It could also be thrown in a box if you caught it while it was very small and trapped like that probably forever.

5:29 Kira's stand i think would be one of the only ones that would work, his main ability is to completely disintegrate things so that there is no evidence. In each of the people's deaths the only people with any shred of body left are the women's hands he takes. While i could see Notorious BIG absorbing a regular explosion's power i don't think a power that works off of pretty much existence erasure would be absorbed. Edit: The only things that aren't completely destroyed by Killer Queen are people around the object it touched, there's a chance of survival if the person he's trying to kill isn't the thing he made into a bomb. So if Kira Killer queen flipped a coin or something to get it close to him without moving too fast, I'd assume he could safely poke it and destroy it, as his bombs eradicate things on the atomic level if made into a bomb directly.

The stand's growth is only A(very good), but not infinite. This might imply that it can be destroyed with an energy blast of such power that it won't be able to fully absorb it.

To be fair, I don’t think it would be able to absorb all types of energy because otherwise it would start absorbing particle energy immediately and grow to its ocean size almost immediately, which then brings me to the point of if freezing it would work, as if you could flash freeze it or something I think that would just render it helpless without the ability to absorb energy😊

Stands/characters I think could beat notorious b.i.g. Vanilla ice cream, kira (I’m pretty sure he can choose how to detonate his bombs one of which slowly burns it all away), the hand (if okuyasu were smart enough), green day, and manga spoilers from here on, johnny and gyro (still not 100% on how spin works), Hato’s boyfriend I can’t remember his name and poor tom with ozone baby. That’s as far as I’ve read so far so I won’t talk about stands like wonder of you. There’s also probably a ton I’m forgetting because I have terrible memory. Some of these (like the last two) I don’t think their stand could beat b.i.g. but I think they would grant opportunities to beat it

The curious thing is how you know what the Stand's ability is if it requires its user to die. unless the result of the Carne death was really something unexpected.

In theory, wouldn't using a rocket be the best way to eliminate BIG? A rocket has the ability to reach escape velocity, BIG would be attracted to the launch as a rocket produces more energy and travels much faster than anything else. Once in orbit, you don't have to deal with it anymore, if it's reach escape velocity, it cannot do anything and will just drift into the void of space

I mean, at the end of the day, notorious B.I.G. is basically just shear heart attack, but instead of being almost impervious to damage it can regenerate. Its a strong stand balanced by lack of intelligence. Kind of also like the hand I guess.
