Volunteering has the potential to change someone’s life. A passionate explorer in her community, Hebah Hussaina shares her experiences with volunteering using the innovative technology of 3-D printing. In her talk, she encourages and inspires everyone to share the greatest gift they have- time, to help create healthy communities. Hebah is an explorer in her community. She is a third-year student at UBC in the Faculty of Science, focussing her Integrated Sciences degree to help children with neurodevelopmental conditions. As an individual with a firm passion for giving back, she volunteers for various community initiatives, such as the City of Surrey, Surrey Memorial Hospital, and UBC programs.
Also, she works with BC Children’s Hospital and TELUS Science World to support youth and children. Hebah is passionate about working with youth, and believes they truly are the key to the future.
