It’s nice to see real loggers use these saws. Putting em to the test. Most vids I see are one n awhile cutters!! We are in the firewood biz & cut 1,000-1,500 cords yr. We use stihl & some Holzfarma. 66 & 46. Decent saws. 💪
On the first cut, I knew you knew how to cut trees. Not all were perfect, but not all are, even for 50 year veterans. Technique speaks a lot. Great video!
Well, I just ordered my G660 blue thunder I've decided Not To Touch the pull rope until I do 5 heat cycles at 230°F After I get it started. I do not touch the throttle. Till 4 tanks at 40:1 ratio Are Gone. Then for the rest of her life, it is 47:1 Hopefully, she adores the spoiling treatment and rewards me with long-term use..... Fingers crossed, boys. I have a small Gyppo logging business here in north Idaho. I have a stihl 046 I do most my falling with. But I recently bought a g466 and have really enjoyed logging with it. I run a full wrap handle bar on mine duel port exhaust and a max flow air filter. Pulls a 32 inch bar every day with no problems.
It cuts wood and runs so I'd sooner wear that out than a 661 in that fine dust ? I can hear an odd metalic noise but it may be the way mike is picking the sound up
Yes I have heard that same tick I had issue yesterday on the 6th day running it not to sure if it is the carb issue everyone is having or what but will post
I have 2 g444's . 1 works great and the other one is crap. Revs, stalls, runs decent for 5 mins then revs and quits. I was gonna get a carb for it but maybe it has an air leak as well
@@hdhhc5555 and check the intake boot for tears. I've seen a few of those blue saws new out of the box with tears in the boot, possibly from hasty installation
I believe it was triggered by a tree on a power line but the firefighters thought they had it out and left it the wind picked up later and reignited it and blew it out of control so I have heard I have dozens of stories I have heard from people inside the power co and firefighters and timber companies crazy

@@ODIE-WAN I just took ownership of one of their orange husky 288 models. I really liked 288s. I'd say that I'll see how it does, but I don't have any timber to cut..
