Guess what? We sell parts and MotoIQ merchandise! Now you can buy all the same aftermarket parts we use on our project cars and features from the brands we trust! Buying your aftermarket parts from us is the easiest way you can help help support our channel and make sure we can continue making content like this! Check it out at shopmotoiq.com!

I have a stock oil pump but I I will go bigger when I go fully built! For internals I have kings bearings and ARP head studs. Making 303 at the wheels tuned on 92. Fun but reliable! It really all depends on what you intend to do with the car. If you only plan to do "spirited driving" and light tracking every now and again, then taking out a second mortgage probably isnt the right path. Chasing ridiculous numbers is a fools game. Sure you can get 1000+ hp, but then you cant drive it around, or in this case let your daughter drive it daily.

If you want trouble free use, keep it stock and well maintained. If you want more, your engine is one of the stronger engines from the factory. I think downpipe, up pipe, front mount intercooler, a good conservative tune, larger injectors and upgraded fuelpump would be nice. If you drive on the track, oil pan, pickup, big radiator, oil cooler, windage tray and AOS would be wise additions. Flex fuel is also nice for track driving and more safe power. Remember keep the tune conservative.
