I have a Wave+ in black and silver limited edition that Walmart sells, and I love the hell out of it. I jumped on the chance to get the bit kit as soon as it restocked in October, and I feel that literally I can handle anything. 👌🏾

I love my wave+! Yes, we can handle anything with it! I have the bit kit and a volty bit for checking small DC voltage, all in a neat little 2 pocket sheath! Happy waving! 👋😁

I always thought that the people who design and engineer such amazing tools that are at the same time beyond belief functional, resilient, and feel great in the hand must be very very clever, observing, uncompromising and at the bottom line wise. I’m a pumper in the oilfield, I always have my wave+ every single day. The small eyeglass screw driver helps a lot when I need to change out a controller board or disconnect electrical wires with small screws on Terminals.

I always thought poorly of multitools until my girlfriend bought me a leatherman signal for an up coming expedition. It’s such an incredible tool. I’ve found myself reaching for it when doing yard work or tasks around the house.

When I discovered that Leatherman offered a clip for the Wave and Wave+, to fit on my pants pocket, it was a game-changer. Without the clip I never carried it; I carry it every day now.

A few people complain of the price. Bare in mind Leatherman have a 25 year warranty on their tools. How many other manufacturers offer that level of cover?

I’d love to work at Leatherman and help design a Multi tool for Plumbers. I’ve been a Plumber 35yrs and a Leatherman owner over 20yrs. I’ve had a few stolen but still own 5. Plumbers would love their own Leatherman.

Been carrying a Wave since the mod 1 came out- don’t remember when. Had my surge get stolen. I have a Signal and an old mini double hinged tool. Nothing compares to Leatherman.

I owned a Charge as soon as they came out. An XTI and a TTI. My XTI broke after 15yrs and was returned but came back a TTI. I only wanted it repaired and not replaced. You get attached to them.

I have two charge titaniums, one charge al, three 2nd gen. Waves, 1 wave plus, and yes, it's by far the best edc multi-tool a guy can carry daily. Thanks Ben.

I found a surge on the main street of my city. It got rolled over bout a 100 or 200 time and it still works awesome. It just show how strong those knives are!

Someone spends long timeand search for long technologies to create a new tool. Someone bought this tool, go to China, just make a cheaper copy. Dont need to spend long time to create and to research.

Just curious: Why are the blade implement pivots on the same side as the plier pivots? This means that the tool would have that Wave pinch point at the bottom of the plier head when in use. It seems a better choice would have been to switch it around like in the Ozark trail.

With my first paycheck, I payed for a Wave+ when it first came out. Lost it to airport security, and bought another one. It way above it's weight (I can cut VERY low gauge, even bale wire is like butter). Really only overwhelmed it when I tried to bend a half inch steel plate...now it's harder to use the pliers, but it still works hard.

It would be a much better skit if you actually spent some time on presentation and scripted a little more detail. After all, this is one of world’s preferred multi-tool. I’d personally watch an hour + video of this tool, the process behind, thought and design choices and applications etc.

I love my wave+ but Leatherman has been resting on its laurels for far too long. I had hope for the free series. Great idea, but they neutered half the tools. I don’t need 13 tools with the ends chopped off so you can call them a flat head, or a 1” ruler, or a 1” file. The game is changing these days. Modular, customizable, easy to disassemble and clean tools are being released that will soon outstrip leatherman. And if Leatherman’s not careful, put them out of business.

Im still pissed that my first gen wave was swapped to a 3rd gen. When i broke the blade and sent it to the Finnish company who takes care of the guaranty fixes etc.

I have a Surge. It is so heavy and bulky. I prefer to carry on EDC my Victorinox knives. The Leatherman's Squirt PS4 is my second best EDC keychain tool. The Surge always rest at home.

Just bought the charge plus . The bit driver bits fall out with 0 effort after one use. And two parts of the sheath are already trashed . The belt strap button stopped clipping also after a single use not even joking. and the velcro is already falling off. Disappointed to say the least. Hasn't even been a week. only got to use the thing for a single screw and I'm already taking it back ..

Hello Leatherman engineers! Wanted to say that Wave and Surge have big minus....their handles blow/tear after hard using pliers. If the construction of the pliers were fullmetal like in super tool 300 or Rebar,you won't have that problem and it would be more reliable.

If you went all the way to s35vn for a standard steel on your knife blades you would restore a lot of the base brand loyalty that is being lost from lack of true innovation from the last few years. Don’t be tempted to go nitro v either it’s almost too late for something like nitro v. If Buck knives can do s35vn and are an iconic and legendary American outdoor knife company then I believe it would only increase the base brand Leatherman has but is also slowly losing.

Hi iv recently been looking at purchasing the leatherman signal, im based in the uk so serrated blades are illegal unfortunately but i heard you could swap the blade on the wave so iv been trying to contact your uk branch in Kendal in regards to purchasing the signal and a replacement wave blade but the phone lines are turned off with an automated messages about covid so i tried emailing and i got no response that was over 3 weeks ago. Is there any chance some1 here could assist me please as id like to make my purchase soon before a camping trip im due to go on. Thank you

Look up the new GOAT multitool which affords users to instantly swap hardware within seconds for customizability. Hence, you could customize the knife for carry without a blade and upon returning home, swap the blade back in for proper utility around the home.
