I met my future husband in his sophomore year, my senior year, in the newly started anime club. He was sitting in the front row, making chain mail (*swoon*) and introduced himself as "They call me...Tim" which I recognized from my favorite movie, Monty Python's Holy Grail. That wasn't actually his name, but I didn't find that out until much later. At the end of the meeting I was helping my friend clean up and found some scattered links under where "Tim" had been sitting. I put them in my backpack's zipper pocket to give back to him...but somehow never did.

That's exactly how my husband and I felt/feel....it just all fell into place and we just knew.....We were also very close friends before we started dating, and then a year later we were married! Next month we will be married for 6 years

After watching your RU-vid channel (Resin Creations Art) while resting and watching TV; I became curious about who Evan & Katelyn is. I always believed that to really understand you must know the origin story. Well after hearing yours (on my computer) I subscribed to your RU-vid Pod Cast channel. I have known and loved my husband for 40 +years. He was always my best friend and definitely my soulmate. I see in your interactions with each other a love that can stand the test of time. A friend of mine had a class and she was taking it the whole semester but in the end she realized she had been taking it with the wrong teacher and was going to fail because she never attended, that's pure terror

You two are so cute. It's a beautiful world when two of the zaniest and most positive people find each other. Your story is really relevant to me, as I got together with my best friend and do a Computer Engineering/Business degree. I was just wondering, how did you two stay so positive throughout College (as it gets bloody tough at times). Also, how did you navigate away from corporate life in favour for DIY and fun projects? I love seeing people succeed without the standard college to 9-5 narrative. Love from Australia!

That's awesome. I mean college was pretty normal for us. There was a lot of work and studying. We both dealt with things in our own way. I got distracted by fun things and procrastinated while Katelyn got ahead of her schoolwork and scheduled social things into her life. Think we talked some about the transition in our going full time episode but we worked both our main jobs for a while, building up our income from RU-vid until it was enough to live on and then we quit, but that nest egg we had built up by working normal jobs for years was a nice security blanket

My wife and I met when I was 28. If we had met years before we wouldn't have ended up together because neither of us were ready for it. We changed and grew a lot for about 6 years before meeting.

I literally have a nightmare randomly that I’m back in my senior year of high school and I didn’t graduate so I’m back in high school as a now 22 year old lady... lmao I like sometimes need to go find my diploma just to reassure myself.. 😂😂

I just got to the point in the video where you both were talking about the 6th hour(ish) talk you had and I don't think I could be happier for you if I tried with every ounce of my soul. I get those nightmares all the time too, but I actually lived it a few times. I slept through part or all of 3 tests in college. And I once got in a car accident on the way to a final exam.

I have that EXACT nightmare still today (almost 4 years since graduation.) In every one of those dreams I try to log on to our school's student portal and either the internet won't work, or I can't remember my password, or I literally can't read what's on my phone. It's a dream that crops up during stressful times like starting a new job.

I'm SO glad that I'm not the only one who's had a nightmare like that about classes! I always have this nightmare that I didn't realize I'd signed up for a class but it's 1 week before finals and I haven't been to ONE CLASS! I'll wake up sweating with my eyes like 0_0 aagghhh, lol. My second E&K podcast and so far it is pure gold! You guys are so fun. Honestly might get twitch just so I can watch you there as well. Am I a "super-fan" now? Idk what that even means, I've just heard my 14 year old say it lol, I'm not kewl or hip so if that's not the correct term *shrugs* lol
