My wife of 42 years, we met in High School where the Gym classes decided to teach square dancing, this is where we met for the first time, although I had seen her a month or so before... that was in 1974, engaged, and I went into the Army, we married in 1976 when I got home from Germany.

.......hi Elizabeth......from the first time i watched you and Bill's vids.......the personal integrity of your husband shone thru.......you have been treated kindly by our faithful God in your marriage......even on vids, as opposed to face-to-face meetings.......it's hard to hide what is genuine........interesting........the nite i met my husband, we went with a young church group to a pizza place.......he, also was very shy......that nite, as i marveled at the wonder of being privileged in spending time with this exceptional man........he reached across the table, placed his hand on mine, and quietly asked, "Will you be my angel?"

Dennis and I met in a college Sunday school class in early 1976 also! He was in the Air Force at the time. He also remembers exactly what I was wearing. I just asked him! We will be married 41 years on September 1. It is amazing how similar our stories are. I have had two strokes and now i have a pacemaker. Dennis is in the same fit condition you are Bill. I love the grouping and pairing up idea. Today's version would be like a online dating site. I'd prefer a in person match myself. Congrats on staying ❤ together.

That was the first time I have seen you guys kiss. It was nice to hear your story of how you met. My wife and I have been married for almost 30 years and our kids are 26 and 24. We kiss a lot, and always after Grace is said. I think it is important to show our kids our love for each other and different ways to express that. We are always holding hands and this is something I have tried to pass on to my Son, the importance of his role to take care of his girl friend. This is our job as parents to teach our kids how God Love us. Thanks

Glad you’re here in VA now and we’re only up the road a minute in Williamsburg! God has certainly blessed you, as he has us. We will be married for 26 years in November. I met my husband in 1975 on a psy unit!! I was a student nurse assigned to the unit where he was a social worker. I though he was interested in my friend. The day after I finished my psy rotation, he came to where I was working and we went out. When I got home, I woke up my sister and told her I just met the man I was going to be marry! We will be married 43 years this year.

It brought back memories when you Bill said your ex girlfriend split up with you because in 3 months you never kissed her, I actually did that, split up with a boyfriend because he never kissed me. He tried to explain that he was showing me respect but I was only young and didnt listen tut.

I remember seeing this, it was nice to see it again and I will say it again How sweet!

My grandparents were married in 1914 - she was 15 . he was 19... She died in 1993, just short of their 80th wedding anniversary .. he followed her a few months later. ....From what I’ve researched, I believe, at that time, they were probably the longest married couple in the US. 9 kids... 1 died in infancy.

Romantic story.. aww enjoy yourselves you love birds. Some find love some do not. You both have. Definitely heart warming!
