Hi everyone! It's Amon & Christina! We're so happy that we were able to share our story with CNBC! We had a great time. We hope that it inspires more people to pursue financial independence and to retire early!❤️❤️❤️
I have savings that I want to invest but I don't know how to, I need a professional guide on all these things left for me I will just be saving till I see something profitable to put my money in.
Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.
The strategies are quite rigorous for the regular. They are mostly successfully carried out by pros who have had a great deal of skills/knowledge to pull such trades off.
@@MelindaMatsuda I agree, having a brokerage advisor for investing is genius! Amidst the financial crisis in 2020, I was having an investing nightmare before touching base with an advisor. In a nutshell, I've accrued over $2m with the help of my advisor from an initial $350k investment.

I love Amon and Christina, they're a source of inspiration. My wife and I have been in the s&p500, both through my TSP and through Fidelity in her 401k. Until around 3 years ago we were 100% in the s&p for over 15 years. Cashed in $350k from the s&p and invested with a full service advisor. We currently have $2.3million in out tax deferred savings. I retired last year at 56, while my wife retires next year. Feels good to be in control of your like having made the best investment decision. Our Rich Journey, let's go!
That's impressive man. I am curious as to what kind of investment you make now that yields that kind of profit for you. I also find myself in need of a good investment plan currently. My 401k is always maxed, no Roth for now. I've got $500k+ in a savings account.
@@profderek2204 I have my funds well diversified by using trade signals from my investment advisor Susan Lynn Hoyt a US registered CFA who you might have heard about or seen in the CNBC news and tbh it's been a huge relief. Highly diversified portfolio, mind blowing earnings and little to no engagement at all on my part. My aggressive portfolio returned almost $200k in Q2.

Amon and Christina are so smart, sweet, and action-oriented. Love seeing them featured here - "our rich journey" is their youtube channel and such a great channel. They have included us in their journey, and tagging along with them has been enjoyable, informative, and inspiring. Highly recommend their channel and congrats to Amon and Christina on this well-deserved shout out from CNBC!
The key to making money in stocks is not to get scared out of them. An important key to investing is to remember that stocks are not lottery tickets. get a financial assistant
These two have a great RU-vid channel and the perfect attitude to make this work. I am a Financial Advisor and I am always skeptical of people who try to retire super early. But this couple has the right attitude, are willing to make sacrifices and are very cleaver in how they manage/grow their money. They actually have a great chance of hitting their goals

I feel this is the wealth that I would want rather than having a billion dollars. Spending time with family, no worries about retirement and being young enough to enjoy traveling and other experiences.
Agreed, I think it's important to know how much you need and understand your numbers well instead of just always wanting more. Then you get to actually enjoy the freedom you've created for yourself!
I never miss their uploads. I am 45 years old single mother living, I am hoping to retire at 50 if things keep going well for me. Bought my fifth house last month and I can't be proud more that I am right now. I am so glad I made good decisions about my finances that changed me forever now I earn monthly.

This was a joy to watch and probably one of my favourite CNBC Make It videos you've made to date. There is just such an ease to how they live and how comfortable they are, yet, you can tell they are grounded in reality and have clearly worked very hard to get to where they are today. How inspirational. Congratulations Amon and Christina on all your success!
What a gorgeous family! Amon and Christina’s partnership is solid. The way they set everything up for their future and that of their family is something to aspire to. Thank you so much for sharing your story with us! 🙌🙌🙌
"Our employer, when we lived in Spain and Japan, paid our housing cost." 70K and 98K salaries. Fully paid health care insurance. Of course, they made the right moves, but things like that help, a LOT.
@Dodd Frank Yep, I almost turned this off as soon as I heard "Working for the government." In a community where I used to live, near a lot of Federal Govt. and military facilities about half of the people there had retired in their 50s, and ALL of the people who retired in their 50s were govt. employees. The other people in the same community were private sector and were doing well, but practically none had plans to retire before their mid 60s.
I really liked this episode! This family pursues a great goal - to spend time together with their children as much as possible. It took them some time and lots of effort but that was worth it. I personally reckon they’re a great example for all of us! I totally share their values. Work is not the thing people were created to give it all the time and energy. But the question is HOW to work less? It’s obvious that the less you spend the less you must work to make money. The fact is, an obsession with possessions distracts us from the very things that matter most in life-the things that money cannot buy. Children suffer when their parents don’t spend enough time with them. They don’t feel they are loved. That can even have long-term negative effects on their adult life. On the contrary, how much better it is when all family members just have meals together, have fun and communicate. Money cannot buy family happiness and unity. That only comes from spending time with your family and giving them adequate love and attention. I couldn’t agree more with this saying from the Bible: «Better to eat vegetables with people you love than to eat the finest meat where there is hate» - Proverbs 15:17. I find lots of practical advice from this wise timeless book. Where can you find how living by Bible standards can make you happy? I'm.. 50 a.n.d m.y. husband 54 we are both retired with over $3 million in net worth and no dept's. Currently living smart and frugal with our money.serving and investing life style in the stock market made it possible for us this early even till now we earn weekly. Thanks to fire movement.
Thank you two for being an amazing example and achieving FIRE. The cliche is that “youth is wasted on the young” but you certainly squashed this with discipline, a vision, and a great attitude. Thanks for this, it was renewed my sense to continue my journey towards freedom. Keep it up and would love to get an update from you in a few years. God bless.
It was awesome to see you on CNBC Make It. I've been following you for many years. Your videos are always inspirational! I've been semi-retired for the past 10 years and can't wait to be fully retired. I didn't focus on retirement when I was younger and wish I had made that a priority sooner. I always loved the businesses I created, so it never felt like work. But now that I'm older I don't want to waste any more time on things that aren't truly important to me.
They were my entry to the FIRE path. They were my inspiration 3 years back. I lost my way for sometime but again, they were the ones to bring me back to the path to FIRE. While I probably wont retire early coz I love my work and my colleagues and the company treats us quite well, I am more than halfway through to FIRE because of Amon and Christina. Love you guys and best wishes to your whole family
How exciting to see you guys featured! Well deserved. I just discovered you a couple of weeks ago, and my husband and I have put together our FIRE plan. 😊 We're on track to retire early in 16ish years at this moment, but we're planning to speed things up once our son is in school and I'm working full time again.
A Friend told me Saving at least 15% of your income in a 401(k) can help ensure that you have enough money to retire comfortably. is this a good way to potentially grow my retirement savings to about $3M over time?

I like how he says that they wouldn't be here if it wasn't for them working together. I am by myself and I constantly feel like I just need a companion to make it happen, what I do alone is okay but not full force because it is just a little too much to handle on my own.
I heard about FIRE when I was in my 20s and dismissed it. Wish I started back then. I revisited the concept 3 months ago and not doing too bad but probably could have shaved off a few years before I retire early. It's worth it!
Find the number you feel you need every month, get into trading make the amount you need and then get out. Put the money in a high interest account and your safe if something should happen for emergency money. If you have some money to get started try and ask your family if you can move back home for a year to study and start making enough so you can rent somwhere the second year you will either be done or need one more year.
I love this family so much. What an awesome partnership. My husband and I have followed this couple for years now trying to learn from them. In that time we have become debt-free except for our mortgage and we hope to get to a place as well where we can retire early. Kudos to you guys there aren’t many married couples with children making this happen on a regular salary. You guys rock. Congratulations on your success.
What an awesome video to learn even more about you two! You’re such powerful inspirations to myself and countless others. I’ve been listening to this power couple’s life changing info for a little over a year on RU-vid and though I’ve been on a financial fitness journey for a while, their RU-vid videos have taken my financial life to another level light years beyond what I could learn and achieve on my own. Though I’m a subscriber to several financial RU-vid related channels, none compare to this couple. Their channel is the acme of RU-vid financial channels bar none.

This is incredibly inspiring but for most of us not earning upwards of $170,000 a year between two adults in a household, this situation is just a dream. Enjoy your life. You obviously earned it and I agree with other comments: it makes all the difference who you partner up with. Be happy. Your actions inspire me.
They said they wouldn't be able to accomplish fire with just their incomes. They did addition side hustles in real estate to increase their income beyond their 9-5 jobs.
It also depends on where you live... With your income you might not be able to retire in the US, but you might be able to retire in Portugal or Spain, for example. We don't pay health insurance in Spain, or it's much much lower than in the US if you chose a private health insurance, also the cost of living is way way lower. I, as a student, spend 550-600€ a month (sharing an appartment, of course, but if you add 400€ to that you can have an apartment for yourself). College here is almost free if you compare it to the US, we only pay around 1000€ a year for tuition, and there are lots of grants so that you don't pay a dime if you don't have that much income (I have only paid for one year of college and I've been there for 5 years). So yeah, it depends on the country you live in. If you gave me 2000€ a month in Spain, I'd live like a king, and that's only 24k a year.
@@ravindraramgulam4324 why the f**k do people ignore the math side of the equation. Also their jobs paid well because combined they made 100k plus. They don’t emphasize that their conditions were super favorable so they had the chance to be in this situation!
I been watching this couple for a year and half now their the real deal. It's not about going to College or not the bottom line is learning Financial Literacy at a early age we need to learn this, "if we want to close the wealth gap."
I live in Romania 🇷🇴 and I aspire to do that as well. Financial freedom and the journey towards that is part of what I talk about on ny channel and I am definitely trying to go further with that.

As someone who is only interested in the financial independence part of FIRE, what u found the best part of this video was the family. Like usually i like hearing the numbers but the relationship between this people was great. I can only wish that my goals of being financially independent lead me to a person with a similar interests
I like how they briefly mentioned buying stuff at the discount area in an IKEA, then selling it for a profit on-line; its amazing what you can sell on line! I never got into real estate, but had a fascination with finance and the stock market and put my money in that to build wealth. Its grown quite nicely over the years and I'll be retiring in the next year, might happen earlier if the economy gets re-affected (or re-infected?) by a COVID surge and I leave my job (hopefully by a buy-out). Cheers.
So amazing!! You are celebs! Love you! Your story is, and continues to be truly amazing. If viewers looking for a path that they are searching for, please go back to Amon and Christina's start of their video series and get a cup of coffee, and enjoy them. It is beyond inspiring.
A really wonderful, and educating insight into your lives there. I been actively following your page for some time now, and I am really glad that I came in here. Financial freedom isn't really rocket science, as everyone can get there, and I hope everyone reading this gets to their desired target.
From their story, a key moment was their choice to invest more in properties. As a young man, I wonder the best investment sector to focus more on, there are reports of brokers making millions in less than a year trading stocks, and I am really tempted to begin there.
