very nice - but how to get the sound? If you hold the gimbal sideways out of the car there are strong winds. Can the gimbal hold against it? You cannot record the sound from the cam without massive wind noise. I tried this last week and it was even difficult filming from the open back of a van.

Thanks Michael!!! Really appreciate it! Not sure how much I will use a drone at this point. The problem with drones are, they have wide angle lenses, I wouldn't want to fly them that close to the cars. Seems awfully dangerous for such a wide angel shot that I could really only use to establish my location. I've been thinking about it though.....thank you!!

so i dont have enough money for a ronin dji. But do you think just a cheap stabilizer would do the trick? like when you were hanging out of the tailgate?

It depends on a how smooth the road is, and how soft the suspension on the film car is. You can get great shots just hand held in the right conditions. Also, just slow down, keep it around 30 mph to start. Checkout my RS5 video, it was shot with my same exact camera now, but hand held...no gimble. But, we were shooting with my Eurovan camper that rides super smooth. Good luck bro, practice makes perfect....cheers!

I saw this video on DriveTribe. and yes I am b0tt0ml355p1t if you are wondering. I loved this video because I'm an aspiring photographer when it comes to cars and I even have my own racing team named CrossTheLine Racing. Almost all pictures are photos taken by me. Videos depend. Lol. I tried my rolling shots hanging out the window of the Honda using a selfie stick and my phone. lol.

This is a great example of making high quality videos from the start. Many channels use lower quality video products when their channel first starts out (which is fair reason, many people can only use what they can afford at the time), however by having just good quality equipment from the start, you will soon see your channel grow exponentially without having to upgrade video equipment. Good work as always.
