yer he was on a show back in the 60s/70s till death do us apart funny show he played a gay man now he plays a tough chief who you don't wanna fuck with
@@naedot.9779 no need to call him and idiot I'm Training to become a police officer yes the codes are difficalt to learn but there's also lots of things fire fighters need to know but they were asked easier questions
@@sarah_kate5103 Chicago PD irl uses plain English, and they only have three 10 codes. THREE. 10-1 = Officer needs help (sometimes Chicago Fire crews may use a 10-1, like when Ambo 61 got caught up in a gang shootout) 10-4 = Basically the same as everywhere, 'Understood' (can only be used by 2 man patrol units) 10-99 = Same as 10-4, but used for one man units
Boden with his 'Chicago Fire voice" makes him sound and look so intimidating, scary, and just dang freighting in a confrontation... but when I first heard his real voice... it completely made him look like a small, weak, soft, man. Accents are crazy and it's so weird how just a voice can change someone's appearance.
Well, Eamonn Walker had plenty of practice developing the husky voice when he played Howlin' Wolf in Cadillac Records. 'Cuz of this, our family gives Boden the nickname of "Chief Howlin' Wolf". 😄
Actually 12 hours is somewhat of a correct answer . Especially around here in the Chicago land area a lot of suburban departments are mostly part time An rotate 2 shifts throughout each day .
May God provide intellectual, physical and spiritual power and strength to the fire fighter department team-the fire fighter officers, vehicle maintenance group, call center team n overall team. May God empower and bless you all and ur family for the noble work of saving lives while risking one's life and forest fire safety through fire helicopters. Salute to every firefighter!! Amen!!......
Well she’s a medic, and though they may cross train with fire, PASS devices and shift length aren’t pressing concerns. Meanwhile a medic shift can be as short as eight hours, our agency gives 12/12, 12/36, 24/24, 24/48 options.
@@jaysmith1408 Chicago Fire ambo medics are hired separately from firefighters, so they aren't trained for fire suppression or rescue. They do have the same bunker gear that the firefighters use, but you'll know it's from an ambulance crew member, because it'll say 'EMS' above the person's last name. Instead of the rectangular or square yellow reflectors on the helmets, ambulance helmets will be littered with star of life stickers around it. However, irl CFD ambo medics are not equipped with turnout gear, or SCBA nowadays. Example: 'EMS' 'SHAY' (for Paramedics and EMTs working in a CFD ambulance) EMS - PIC DAWSON (for Paramedics In Charge, like Dawson or Brett for example)
Funnily enough if you were to ask the guys from Backdraft some of these, I bet they'd know, because they actually went through CFD training before filming that movie.
Wohoo our squad lieutenant and chief can be a lieutenant and chief on Firehouse 51 XD The others need to take one more exam lol. But where is the other lieutenant, should ask him too.
It is so strange to me that they don't know much about fire fighting lol. It kinda ruins the show slightly now that I know this but i'm still going to watch it and love it.
All of these are easy questions lmao. But they mostly understanding firefighting. I'm quite surprised Sylvie did ok cause she is in EMS. A question id ask is how is the PSi in a fire hose decided. By the truck or by hose type. Answer is hose type I believe.
It’s weird seeing them do this when we watch the be literally firefighters and know everything but takes a second to realize they are just acting and know not much about jt
