The 'Schitt's Creek' cast, as they prepare to say goodbye to the series, plays 'How Well Do You Know Your Co-Star?' bit.ly/VarietySubscribe / variety / variety / variety
I know right!? I’m a huge fan and I know she doesn’t speak like that. But since watching Schitt’s Creek everyday for like. A year. My brain can’t process her natural voice anymore 😆!
Annie is so laid back unlike her character. Dan is just David. I can't believe Catherine doesn't actually have an accent. Eugene is still as lovable as he is as the father of the cast
I just discovered the show like 2 weeks ago, and im already on the 5th season, there something insanely good about Dan's writing, hope to see more of him in the future.
I really wish they graduated the idea to a Rosebud Motel, office like, spinoff. Pick some random motel in a new area that gets bought by them as a means to let the characters stop by occasionally. Grows the story, but with new characters.
Eugene and Catherine have been friends since the mid 70’s and Dan has known Catherine his whole life. She’s like the honorary aunt. It really has to be fun to be that close with everyone off set and on ether it be by blood or long standing ties.
I did not care for David's "happy ending", that was a form of cheating. I don't get why they had that happen and Patrick did not make a bigger deal over it. I guess men are really different.
@@raephaelemasirnille5794 Hi, absolutely you're entitled to your opinion. And you've every right to believe it was not funny or bad writing. But to say it was a form of cheating is an exaggeration. David didn't intentionally cheat on Patrick. If you recall in the earlier season, David gave Patrick the go-ahead to experiment with another guy because David was worried that he was Patrick's only homosexual experience. It was actually a very liberal, modern way to embrace the difference between sex and true love. Some (most of society) cannot separate the two. But as both Noah and Dan said in an interview, their relationship is based on this powerful connection that is way beyond sex. Patrick did not consider it cheating. And David just assumed Patrick gave the masseur the go-ahead because he knew how stressed David was--that miscommunication was totally innocent and hilarious. I think to say men are really different is a bit sexist, as if to say we are emotionally dead inside and only care about our dicks being satisfied. That is NOT the case at all, especially in David and Patrick's situation. They have true love. It was actually a very lighthearted moment, not to be taken so seriously.
@@reblewi30 Yes! And I was quite surprised to see a fan reaction saying David cheated on Patrick and Patrick should've broken up with him. I was taken aback by that kind of reaction. So I'm glad the majority of the SC fandom enjoyed the bit, I certainly did.
@@sw9618 I never said Patrick should have broken up with Patrick. Why are people putting words in my mouth? If two people decide to have an open relationship I don't have a problem with that. But without permission/discussion I consider it cheating. I did not like that scene especially on his wedding day.
Annie Murphy is such a gem. They are all fantastic, obviously, but I can't help being so happy for her considering how much she struggled before the show. She's honestly become one of my favorite actors. I can't wait to see what else she does from this point on!!!
For some reason I'm obsessed with the part 3:46 where dan tells Annie "what did you write, marg? What? Are you ok?" Like that really reminded me of David's iconic "oh my god". I seriously can't stop laughing rn 🤣
Okay I get you wanted it for to end on a high note I appreciate that. Would you consider a special movie type project as where you all are in your lives years later? Hour and a half or so? I would appreciate that too! Lol Thank you all involved from the bottom of my dry humorous heart💖
I think this will be remembered as one of the truly great sitcoms all time. The character development as the seasons progressed, made it so heart warming.
Variety you should really add captions for the producers talking behind camera. They don't show up for auto captions. Or better yet, you should caption your videos and made them accessible to all.
I cannot get enough of Dan's style. He always looks immaculate. I wish he would come out with where we could get the female versions of all of his outfits lol. This one is so simple but classy.
Did anyone binge watch the series n now since Netflix is done and I already miss them so I am on RU-vid.. finding comfort in their family chemistry, binge watch' videos ❤️
Meeeeee!! That's exactly what I'm doing! If you watched on Netflix you still have to watch season 6 available October 7. Lucky you. I paid to watch it on Google Play, couldn't wait.
Launchpad McQuack, yes in the US! It was highly emotional and I appreciated that they shared it with us. I cried multiple times of laughter and of bittersweet sentiment.
Dan said Alexis’ stories reflected his real life?! I don’t remember him dating Sean Penn as a teenager before he took his drivers license wearing a burka. 😂😂😂
Absolutley Love the show! I watch it on repeat everyday! Schitts Creek is more than brilliant. They gave the acting parts to people who fitted right in 👏👏👏👏❤
I miss you guys 😭 Like on a personal level 😭 it's like you guys were such a huge part of me...and now that the show is done. I really miss you guys :'(
I'm literally watching all the 6 seasons for the 3rd time🤗. I'm not someone who likes to watch same movie or show again but, this show is my go-to when I feel down or want to just relax. I love all of them ❤️
Lol Ioved Alittle bit Alexis part lol I thought she was going to be good, but once she started singing I was like omg! 🤣 Moira’s and Jocelyns face got me dying. It was a super funny scene.
I absolutely loved Schitt's Creek. I'm sad to see it end. I discovered it on Netflix a year ago and was hooked from the first episode. The only flaw is I don't get why Alexis and Ted did not end up together especially since they had such a hard road. I kept expecting Ted to walk in at David's wedding. And wish they could have found a way to keep Mutt in the show. He was so nice to look at 🤣🤣🤣🤣
It was so hard to watch that scene of them saying goodbye. It’s because she is finally starting to do things on her own and she didn’t want to just be that girl (woman) that follows the guy anymore, which was a way to show her characters personal growth throughout the series as she would’ve done that no questions asked season 1 or 2 ...I’m sure if they end up doing a movie or sequel/spin off series that perhaps they may cross paths again once he’s not working/living so far away for so long.
@@berf13 I understand Alexis' personal growth and I am happy for her. But the writers could have gone in any direction. They could have not had Ted go to the Galapagos Islands or have his stay short and not indefinite. The way the writers set everything up it gave Ted and Alexis no choice but to break up. I wish they would have never brought up the Galapagos Islands and Alexis could have her man and her career.
