Thanks for the How-To’s. Your spot on every time! Sharing my tip for jeans and tall boots... wear them with your Capri jeans from summer! No rolling, no bunching at the ankles. Get mileage out of summer capri’s and your boots will zip right up and your out the door. 😉

So good! Really liked the sock tuck in to avert bunching with the over the knee high...I can’t wait to do this. Ok, I am starting to see cutting the denim seam up about 2 to 3 inches on the outside and then tiring a knot for interesting ankle detail. Which albeit is not cuffing, just shaking things up in the cuff region, also seeing added embellishments at the cuff area too, such as pearls up the outside seam area an inch or two etc. Well done! MERCI!

GREAT STYLING HACK! I actually started purchasing denim this year. It was all I could afford in my teens & twenties. I associated the financial struggles of that time in my life with jeans and worn out sweaters. Time to change it up a bit....35 years later. First, I picked up jeans of color....wide leg...high waist. Skinny jeans were tough...very developed muscles in calf AND ANKLE! My mother just looks at my legs and shakes her head. She has Garbo legs! If I can find a boot that looks big at the ankle/lower calf...I would consider it a worthy investment. Alas, I haven't...it has been a couple of decades looking. I love the different rolls...the big cuff look is what I will wear with bigger heels as you suggested. I am petite and they look odd with sneakers. Right on about that! The sock over the jeans before putting on tall boots...BRILLIANT! I never thought of that. I actually have two tall boots from BODEN. When I find a wide cut boot...that is gorgeous...I purchase every color. So rare! I will try that hack...for sure. I have lace up boots, too. They give me a little extra room at the calf. Great hacks! Great video! Great style!

For boots with wide ankle and Calfs- polished ones -Chelsea boots are great also check out actual riding boots with lacing also Dr Martens if you want something more edgy or a parashooter boot ;) / yours used to play European Style football , loved walking and riding + genetics

@@annarehbinder7540 Thank you! I will check those brands out. I was into figure skating, gymnastics, biking, and equestrian (English style/posting). I did pick up a couple of Ganni cowboy boots, but they were shorter just covering my ankle bone. There is stretch the Callie boots by Ganni. The shorter Meg boot extends out in front and back a tad bit...but not wide to give it that really cool look Alyssa styled today. I like Chelsea boots. I do need a bit of a heel on my boots. 2 inch minimum. 3.5 inch maximum. I appreciate your tips and response. It was kind of you to take the time.

Like you, I wear jeans constantly, so I do like to change them up sometimes. :) The last couple years I'm all about straight leg & crop wide leg jeans, so no tucking, but I'll do the pinroll or x-tra large cuff on the straight leg, 4-5". Hi :) I got mine on Asos.com, and it was their own brand. Super soft leather, and I got mine in wide, so they are super comfy. Get compliments every single time I wear them, but more important than compliments, they make everyone in the office happy - people just burst into a smile and say wow, look at those shoes :) I just took a look for you, and they don't currently have the silver colour, but they might... closer to spring, and there are plenty of other colours. They all called "leather brogues" on their website. Good luck!

Love the imperfect low roll on a skinny ie straight UNDER the ancle with just under an inch Done twice and then Messing it upp a little and half un tucking it just a little on each leg for me i like the look of it being messier on the inside . Like it because its a bit rock and also gives illusion of a longer leg ,especially with a high waisted Jean and a pointy or almondshaped boot or bootie UNDER the Jean , also looks really cute with a ballerina then adjust it to just OVER the ancle touching the area where the slope upwards start for your ancle bone where your foot at its slimest . ( picked those up in Paris at LES BAINS )

Another treasure trove of valuable style tips! Lots of time and effort as always it shows and is appreciated! I saw a preppy styling with pointed flats similar to the J.C roll. But it was an angled thin roll with a knot or a wad of fabric on the outside edge. Adored it. So I have tried to imitate it and the only way I can get it to stay in place is with a rubber band. Has to be a thinner denim and on the short side, but once you get it down, it is super cute. Also, I have a few jeans/skinnies that are just too long and I can never style them right (with a tuck) ...thinking of whacking off the longer unused hem and raw edging them. But I am so scared to try it. : ) Are you willing to give me permission? : )

Hey there! Definitely give the boyfriend roll a try with a monochrome look - makes a big difference if above the ankle and even a small heel. You look great with showing ankle above booties, but with my petite height, it makes my legs look shorter and perhaps stumpy to have that gap between my jeans and booties.

I do the first one I believe with some slim jeans in the summer. I really am a dress and skirt girl so this really does not fit me but when I do where jeans I like to cuff them too.

I was also looking specifically for that extra wide roll. Love seeing it in the mags but I’m short and never sure if it looks right on me. Can a large cuff be too large?? The pair I’m working with now, if I cuff to above my ankle bone is about 5-6”. Looks cute with a petite loafer but I’m staring at the size of that cuff in the mirror like hmmmm.

I am 58 and really love rolling my jeans. I wear Everything and have long hair love make up I love the rolls. I have some taller dingo boots that are rustic and flat. Is 2020 still rolling jeans. Buying new jeans soon.

Maybe it's because of the small screen that I could not see it properly, but what is the difference between the pin roll and the boyfriend roll, please?

ah great question - the pin roll starts with folding the seam on the side first and THEN rolling up the hem ... this tapers the pant leg at the bottom vs. the boyfriend roll is simply a rolled hem, so the silhouette of the pant leg doesn't change ... i hope this helps! Thank you for watching!

Why can't you just get jeans at that length to begin with.... Don't want to roll! Really hard. True 27-29" inseam models are a true pain to get without getting into nasty mom-slit-capri territory.
