@@foxisretrofitting4556 Not only did it fix my problem, but it looks so much better! I purchased some different studs and hardware. I got five M6x120mm studs (perfect height, no cutting required, hood shuts), and then just some assorted hardware to fasten said studs. It's great! I'm very happy with this. Thanks again!

Can you link the studs you used please? I only see the fully threaded ones. Before searching for answers I was thinking I could make some rubber washers and put them right under the original rubber washer. Edit: nvm I found some. Studs and nylon nuts came out to about $18 with shipping.

@@badgermetal The studs I used in the video were fully threaded I just cut them down. I used regular nuts, just used thread locker with them. Optimally the locking nuts with nylon would be the best but I didn't have access to those at the time.

If you've tried replacing the valve cover gasket and it still leaks there I would say yes. Domestic Gaskets on Ebay sells valve cover gasket sets (spark plug tube seals included) for cheap and they are just as thick if not slightly thicker than the genuine Honda ones. I also wound up putting thread locker on the top nut above the valve cover as well. Optimally using a lock nut for the top would be perfect but I used what I had.
