You have it wrong, Tac, Fagan, and Dauda will play the 5. Chole and Watkins will play the 4. Edwards will play the 3 and 4 behind Bree. Rotation will be easy to figure out for Dawn. Most of the games will be blowouts, and all will see the floor. You saw what happened last year. Also, they will lose Bree Hall, Pao, and Fagan. After this year, minutes will open up then as well.
@@jayhova08 fagan at 5 is good because she can shoot mid range good so it opens the paint up Edward’s can play 3 and 4 kitts can play 3 and 4 tac 5 Watkins 4 and 5 and douda 4 and 5 and she can open the floor a lot because she can shoot 3s
Lol perfect example of negative predictions. This should be used in classrooms lol. They just won a national championship and had a perfect season and already. Hes commenting on how many players will be unhappy next year.
Tac will have limited to no minutes any way due to injury. Sania will still get her minutes if not more, same with Ash. Joyce will also get her minutes because she’ll be playing the 3 & 4 most likely. if Dauda is going to be there 2 years then I don’t think that will affect anything because Dawn will go with those that been in the system while letting her get acclimated and adjust that first year, and learn behind other good bigs. similar to kamilla as you said
Ashlyn's minutes will definitely increase. That means she'll be susceptible to more foul trouble. Maybe I'm wrong, but from what I've seen of Edwards, she looks more like a wing than a post. Remember, Bree is a senior this year.
@@kdean42 we losing Bree fagan and pao so Edward’s if she plays well will probably be in the starting lineup her 2nd year tac will be obviously in the starting lineup once she’s fully healthy and recovered Watkins will be a starter everybody will be happy trust Dawn knows how to keep players happy she’s going to give the seniors the most minutes so they prove 1 last year how good they are
Maybe Adhel Tac should be the most unhappy about this? Dauda has two years of eligibility. Dawn portaled over guards last year when she got Paopao, but she managed it brilliantly. As long as Dawn gets it right, she can avoid any more Saniya Rivers type departures. I think she is the best in the country at that kind of player management.
She’s a freshman I think she be happy to get minutes but she probably be the less upset about not having a lot of minutes because she’s a freshman and she’s coming off a big injury but by her 2nd year she probably be in the starting rotation
Barker was at Texas A&M last year not Arkansas…. Dawn is an elite coach. Tac can play a certain amount of games before they have to red shirt her. Edwards will get some time and possibly start for certain match ups. Blowouts will allow more minutes.
Maryam and Ashlyn at the 5. Sania and Chloe at the 4. Adhel depends on her rehab. Joyce will be in and out between the 3 and 4. Y’all adding 6 players at one position which ain’t it. Ashlyn also tends to get in foul trouble early on
@@ItsJaeLaw I think she’s staying I don’t know she’s probably not even gone get any minutes SC is gone be way deeper then they was 9 player rotation to 12 player rotation I think she was getting like 2-5 minutes some games now she probably get 2 minutes certain games
I totally agree. I believe that both will get minutes at the 3 pot which was a more natural position for Chloe at the high school level. This goes for Edwards as well. They are very versstile players. As a former coach, you also look at what you are losing. B. Hall and Pau Pau will be leaving after next season. You could throw R. Johnson in that mix as well...that 3 spot is the void and they will slide in nicely. I think they will be fine. Edwards is coming in with the team first mentality for the first year.
@@patgaines-jackson4407 Joyce is a three. Chloe is a 4. Chloe does not have the lateral foot quickness to consistently guard the opponents 3. She has to defend fours, which she IS good at.
@@patgaines-jackson4407I honestly feel Edward’s will be better then hall because besides defense Bree hall wasn’t really bringing that much to the table during the tournament she only had 1 good game and that was against Oregon state so I wouldn’t be surprised if Edward’s be starting over her sometime in the season
@@Lilquan2004I disagree Bree is a leader and plays within the system, doesn't take bad shots and plays under control. Bree could average 15 if she wanted to. She plays the toughest player on the other team. Put some respect on Bree Halls name and her sister is a upcoming baller also. Rising Junior, go check her out
Edwards has to learn the ganecock way and is playing in the under 18 championship. Maddy is on campus learning and getting aquainted with the team. The season is going to be crazy.
The spirit of competition will help these ladies in pursuit of a spot on a WNBA team - their ultimate goal. SC is so good because the players are given the opportunity to beat other teammates out for playing time. If anyone can figure it out, Dawn can!
Well this is going to happen at some point if all the better players are going to the same team you’ll have to try and wait your turn or enter the portal
Great analysis. With all the guards returning as well, I'm also interested in how the playing time will mesh. It's hard to keep Fulwiley on the bench but Raven is the PG and Hall is not going anywhere. Plus Pao Pao is clearly starting. Oh, and Tessa! I think the guard playing time issue is as delicate as the forwards.
They will figure it out at SC. A. Tac shouldn't be rushed back out and they will increase Edward playing time as the season progresses. It's looks like Dauda may start and it makes since as she is more seasoned than Edwards who has a lot of time ahead.
Joyce will share minutes with Breezy at 3. Adhel might not be ready due to her rehab. But there won't be a minutes issue. If there is it's good news because it means Adhel Tac is 100% good to go.
@@jayhova08 Bree hall was ranked 14th in her class Joyce is ranked 2nd and should be 1 it shouldn’t be a surprise that she’s gone be better than Bree hall she could a be a starter by her 2nd year on top of that
I differ with ur take Faegin has earned less playing time plus the NCAA paying cash now don't care what u say if the check don't bounce employer don't owe u no explanation
You used South carolina for clicks. Recruits still coming and y'all mad about that. Sania in the same role LA was in but now she will start unlike LA and latica went top 6 in the wnba draft 😂. Tac will be the only only Center after sania and walker graduate so she not going nowhere either.
