Wrangler jeans are by far the best jeans, I’m a hard worker and I only wear cowboy boots I haven’t worn a pair of tennis shoes or anything I’m forever. They are perfect for the boot and they are comfortable to work in. I also LOVE the wrangler retro pearl snaps they are comfortable as can be!

I have always liked slim straight fits. These are definitely the best kind of slim straight with that "higher than mid rise" also the green stitching is a nice touch 👍🏽. These are currently my go to jeans. Retro slim straight work great for a bigger dude as they aren’t really “slim” like some other brands but also aren’t too baggy. Really like the woodburn color. ✌🏻

I think you can definitely say that colour of jean is a neural. It was surprising how well they worked with the short shafts on some of the boots you tried. Great all around pair of jeans.

Great video. That color work great with all your boots. I have 2 pairs of the same jeans in faded blue. I wear 32/32 and with a flat butt and skinny legs...with the stretch in the belt loops top I bought a 31inch and even a 30 inch waist pairs of these Wranglers that fit perfect around butt and upper legs. Both pairs look great for my boots.

I agree with the wrangler slim straight being a little more loose through the thigh than other slim straight fit jeans. I have a pair from Walmart, and they fit more like my Levi’s 505s than my Levi’s 513s which are a true slim straight. Either way I like them since they’re in that $20-$25 price range at Walmart.

These pants worked with ALL of the boots as far as I am concerned. My favorite was the Cognac colored boot(I think 3rd from the end). I see myself working that particular combination best.

If you haven't already, you should do one on American made jeans. There are a few. I like wranglers, but buy jeans from a few American made companies for less then the cost of those wranglers.

I've ordered 2 different washes of the retro slim straights through Amazon and neither had the 7 belt loop configuration. Did they make a change in the last couple months that you know about?

Only problem with the wrangler slim straight is the zipper opening, I own probably 10+ in a few select colors and they make it hard to get my junk out to take a leak without having to undo the button which means I have to fiddle with my belt. Other than that it’s a great jean just need another like 1/2” maybe of zipper length due to them sitting higher up on the waist.

I'm hoping these don't fall apart . I bought some cheaper wranglers for work, and I almost have to inspect them before going out to make sure there's no random splits or tears mostly in the rear pockets or crotch area also zipped failure after only being worn a few times and washing

I love wrangler retro Jean's but I work construction and have acquired a graveyard of them. I'm lucky if I can get 2 months out of a pair of wranglers. Seriously I got probably six pairs that are torn to shreds.

mine ripped after wearing them for 5 days (not even working in them) they look great though, try some 13mwz’s or 936’s, they are stronger jeans and don’t rip easily

Older post, but just got a pair a few days ago and the Retro pants opening feels more like a bootcut. I’d say 18” or so (at 34/36s). These also feel more or a straight or relaxed pant in the thigh. Great if your moving around a lot.

Oh i dont know, I think there are gel inserts for that you can wear those with a high arch biot better than with plastic.

I have been looking at a lot of your videos since I am trying figure out which western / boot style jeans work for me. On one video you ask if post wash info would be helpful. My answer is yes so I do not make an expensive mistake. I am seeing used pairs of these on ebay and the length is 1-1.5 inch shorter than the jean size. What have you found out? Thanks.

You can edit for some reason the shop of your boot is showing through the Aadonis did you get skinny or slim there to taper down in the calf area because the shaft is showing that’s why you’re getting too much tracking of the gene which looks messy but on the square toe boots is less that’s when it comes to skinny jeans don’t do it do not do skinny do you I don’t know what they call it anyways it just doesn’t look good just do a bit of a straight leg or a boot cut jeans skinny don’t cut it with cowboy boots ain’t going to work and please do not talk in those jeans into your boot

After years of not stacking straight legs and going exclusively bootcut, I'm really enjoying how it feels to stack with straight leg fits. I won't stack bootcuts though because it's much too sloppy for my liking.
