Great video, Adam! The Weapon Plus Program = The Flanagan Institute. Newtypes might as well be the surviving omega level psionic mutants who continued on while other mutant variants died off. It wouldn't be that hard to see the long-term aftermath of the events of X-Men '97 leading to a stronger United Nations that eventually evolves into the Earth Federation a century later.

As for what I thought about X-Men '97 as a whole, I loved it for the most part. It gets a 9/10 for me. Cable remains my favorite mutant other than Professor X and Magneto. In a lot of ways, he's a more practical approach to accomplishing the goals of Xavier and Magnus. That's why he's my favorite. And he will be getting a brand new cybernetic prosthetic left arm from another mutant cyborg (Forge) and I can't wait to see what gadgets and armaments come with that new prosthetic limb.

X-Men and Gundam has some quite similar.

Gundam seed is x men of Gundam, war between coordinate vs nature kinda similar between two show

I would have gone with SEED for a comparison since the whole series is about racism and hatred, and how both sides want to wipe the other out while there are those in the middle who don't want that.

FYI, this is also the backdrop of the conflict in the original Gundam series. In fact, it applies to the overwhelming majority of UC Gundam, even loosely applying to Crossbone and Victory.
