So two of my favorite Zaku battles are early episodes of the original Gundam. The Vote to Attack episode is great as we see Char's Zaku II Comm. type really going to to to with the RX 78 Gundam and even seeing an old vet like Lt. Gadum using Zaku I was great as well. The other was the Re-entry to Eartn and Char and a full lineup of Zaku IIs going up against Amuro and the White Base was just great. Good choices non the last for yours.
You were close on the pronunciation for 'École du Ciel' (you got two-thirds of it correct). It's French for 'Sky School'. Fitting since it takes place in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
I remember this book in the library way back when but couldn't get into it because I couldn't find vol.1, and it felt like I dropped into the middle of a shojo manga.
How did Zeon lose the majority of the fleet during the Battle of Loum? Literally every anime depiction of the battle shows Zeon utterly stomping the Federation with ease at the Battle of Loum with minimal losses. It was comically one sided.
I interested to see what the new gundam series will be like mercury was very different to something like wing , 00 , Destiny etc PS 00 was my favourite Gundam series
This is so blasphemous. The Original Trilogy Star Wars is literally the closest thing Gundam has to a parent; to the point where the Gundam is literally a giant robot Stormtrooper, hence the term "white mobile suit" when used to describe the original RX-78.
@@ZeonZakuBrigade The original script stated that it was pure white, like a Stormtrooper armor suit. They never changed that even though the Gundam's color scheme was changed.
The title just sounds stupid, especially since Gundam is literally Giant Robot Stormtrooper: The Series. And it's far more hopeful and light-hearted than SW because it doesn't have main protagonists who kill children.
I build it at the moment...I can say it's awesome. Be sure to panel line some parts before assembling. Bc after u put some parts together it's closed. It's one of the greatest kits I ever built
Oh man the movie dub is honestly so goofy. I recognize several voice actors on there who’ve done a lot of cool stuff, funny enough in other parts of gundam, but this just comes off as to cheesy, like the dubbing company was the same ones that did the digimon dubs right??? I feel like they got a similar style.
I like Robot spirits. Especially the ver ANIME line. They have great articulation and accessories. However, the ver ANIME has less variety of mobile suits than model kits. Therefore, if your favorite mobile suit is more niche the chances of a Robot Spirits is lower. I really like GM variants and I hope one day a Robot Spirits GM Spartan is announced.
Is the coloration the same as the Space type? My space type had busted beam saber so I bought a cheap guinea pig type to replace it, hasn't arrived as of of July 3.
Premium bandai allows them to produce as many products as the consumers want without making in excess that would sit on shelves to then either be disposed or sold at a loss, that’s why it’s usually recolors or non mainstream products that they know have a higher risk of sitting in shelves for a long time.
I wouldn't mind "character work" or "world building" if these things were actually good. Or of the entire plot didn't constantly rely on people being idiots to make plot happen. You know, and maybe a protagonist who made things happen, rather than a protagonist who things happen to. And remember, being forced into marriage is ok if it's girls. Psycho murderous insane girls who the show makes us empathize because look guys she can draw and get along with kids somehow.
I'd love to support p-bandai but p-bandai doesn't care about Canada. Canada actually had a p-bandai store but it was shut down in 2019 for unknown reasons and not a word since from bandai.
I've been watching anime for 25+ years. All kinds of anime. All genres and all ages brackets. You really can't make blanket statements about it. Anime is an artform all of its own. It is more than just animation from Japan. And that artform encompasses a vast array of subject matters and audiences. There are plenty of anime that can be comfortably compared to mainstream western animation in terms of acceptable subject matter and maturity of story. Too many western fans romanticize anime. I can tell you that anime has many of the same considerations as western entertainment. It is generally broader than western animation (which has been handicapped by the idea that it's just for children) But anime studios have to worry about financial implications. Mainstream anime (the kind shown on mainstream networks) has been the center of controversy over sex and violence.

prophets did exist throughout history, the naming isnt important, but what they brought to the world and what they sensed is what matters, i do believe what Tomino called "newtypes" are in a way inspired by real people that lived on this planet and were mentioned in the history books, innovators/prophets/sorcerers and many others, they are just people who tend to rely more on thier 6th sense for better or for worst, people find them strange due to how rare they are but they are just using a different method of thinking they everyone body else, nothing more, and maybe thats why Tomino wanted to express how he feels by expressing his inner world in away that can show the world that he exists.
Glad you’re enjoying IBO. It was my second Gundam series and definitely solidified my interest in exploring the IP further. Even now, having competed a few other series, IBO is still high on my list. They really did so many things well.
I hate premium releases they suck it’s annoying like if u dont get it as soon as it drops you have to sell your liver and kidney on the aftermarket just to get the stupid premium releases
you need months to upgrade your suits and new players wont even know how that even makes them better there too many suits a lot of them sucked for me felt like waste of time to try them just to see most of them got the same weapons all that changes is if they do damage or not melee suits are op in this game they get close you dead and ping matters big time i had 3/5 ping and it was not bad but cant say it was ok to find a map you need to try all modes to find the one mode most of the player base plays YEA most ppl go and join 1 mode only so gl trying all of them just to find that 1 that got ppl not a bad game but new player vs veteran players that got fully upgraded suits + know all there to know about the game +they got better ping than you on top of that? i pass on that nightmare
