I feel like Pete should spend more time with that 242 yard pured driver shot from a half swing and why that could be a great result for 90+ percent of golfers.
When I warm up with driver I take small slow swings till I hit the center I had a teacher show me this when I was young and when I struggle with driver I go back to that at warm up
1:56 impact zone actually looks perfect. At least, everyone I have ever seen says hit it center line side to side, but slightly higher than center top-to-bottom.
Set your club, centre of the ball, put the club top mark to the inside of the ball so it looks as if your hitting the toe, and monitor if your on your toes and swaying your body towards the ball.
You are likely early extending, or humping the ball. You probably come out of your posture as you are coming though the shot. Try to keep your butt back.
What a totally useless video. At the 3/4 mark he talks about a gate but never explains what a person or how this “Gate” is suppose to work on how it helps you hit in the middle of the driver . He is not an instructor but a “ look at me hit a ball”. Let’s hope this carnival barker doesn’t quit his day job . Nepotism at its finest.
Please dont repeat the same thing again and again wen you make the cut in the film come quicker to the real essential points. Stop repeat things just said in the video. By the way i like your content. Specials the round with other pro and RU-vidrs.
I have been using IMPACT SPRAY for a few years only difference my impact spray is called foot spray. It’s used for spraying inside shoes. But it works great and is cheap.
How is it that you can hit it anywhere on the clubface that you choose? What's the technique? I just swing and hope it strikes somewhere near the centre which is 50% of the time!
Pete, I have watched your swing for the last 6 years or so. It’s never looked better. Congratulations my Brother. Also, I have some sweet Seahawks gear to send you, including some sweet ball markers and divot repair tools.
From the minute 04:30 he is showing where to hit the ball, in that part of the clip he's showing a box of Pro V1, but then the ball he's got on the tee is a TaylorMade. This guy is something else.
Any ideas how to solve the problem of the club head height varying by about 2-3 inches at random. So probably 50% of shots either off the top or bottom of the face, ie a pop-up or a worm-burner going 50m. I would probably hit less than 10% anywhere near the centre.
Possibly inconsistent spine angle and then subconsciously over compensating based on previous swings. Also not having good width throughout the swing can add another varying effect of where you club is at impact.
