If you truly believe and repent he will forgive your sins. I still struggle with some things after 3 years, but the change that God made in my life is unbelievable. Strive to be perfect, but if you are not perfect you don't need to punish yourself too much, have patience and trust the Lord, no matter how bad it looks, everything work out in favor of those who believe on Him, even times of tribulation because that will make you more patient and hopeful. To be honest I don't know if we can be perfect in this life, but we can strive to it, that's wonderful. I love you in Christ, God bless.

@anom anom : You are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. Do you know what that means? That means you are a new creature not in peoples eyes but in God's eyes. Those are the eyes that matter most. Not anyone elses. You are a child of the Living God the moment you said no to yourself and said yes to God. You are sanctified, not by the law abd your deeds you are made new (sanctified) throigh Jesus Christ, the Son of the Living God living inside of you! This is beautiful and dont let anypne take that from you. I say this because i saw your post and i felt an urgency to reply. You are worth far more than any of your sins, anything you have done in your past has been washed away by yhe precious Blood of Jesus Christ. Walk with your head high. This is beautiful! One thing to say too: it wont be easy. There will be alot of opposition you will have to endure. But know this: greater is He (Jesus) who is in you than He who is in the world! 1st John 4:4. God before you who dare be against you? You have the sovereign God on your side? Your sins, your past, your anger, anythibg you are dealing with gets put on the back burner because Jesus will be the one you will cling to. The Holy Spirit is your leader, the ultimate teacher and He will guide you where to go. Get into a good holy spirit filled church, get into working in a good church, have fellowship with other believers, and you will see God lead you and manifest the work of God in your life. This truth that John Piper is sharing is from Jesus Christ, which is indeed biblical because Jesus told others to sin no more-John 8:11 and John 5:14. We are commanded to eradicate sin in our lives. @@Ghostkar i struggle with assurance every day, but i preach the gospel to myself. i can never love God enough. i can never hate sin enough. there is one way to be saved: believe that Jesus Christ took the full punishment for your sin so that he could count his righteousness to you. he suffered God’s wrath so you could be his child. believe it and be saved, be justified by faith. your emotions and actions will follow as he works in you, but creating emotions or works will not save us. only faith in Christ. God bless you and i pray you will believe and be assured

I ask God to make me hate my sin and show it to me and overcome and to love what He loves I do hate sin my stumbling I hate my mouth because still I get angry and do not keep it shut but I am praying about it overcoming through Christ who strengthens me. JESUS IS LORD! God in the flesh. The spirit reminds you of the word keeps us on the straight and narrow path. Praise God!

We cannot compartmentalize the leading of the Holy Spirit! He leads in every area of the lives of those belonging to Him, but do we acknowledge the leading? Being led by the Spirit is the power to turn away from the temptation in the flesh, and to overcome them; that's actually the *"putting to death the deeds of the flesh"* . If we're being led by Him, that's the supernatural consequence. Praying and seeking His help continuously deepens and instills the groove in our own souls, to be conformed to His image from glory to glory.

When in doubt, remember to be in likeness of Christ as He is with God and is not of this world but in a different world that is not limited, and therefore this is also how to overcome doubt. For the other world is a world without time, space, and matter of temporarily existence but eternal in spiritual laws. This is time travel, yes it is, thats how to overcome doubt, as God and Christ and the Holy/fallen Angels(Lucifer and his followers) are of not of this world of limited temporarily existence.

I love to use this verse, “My sheep hear my voice and another they will not follow!” This can be looked as, if you have not heard Gods voice, you are not a sheep of Christ. Meaning you are not saved. Great job Pastor. Praise God for truth!

Matthew 18:3 “And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.” Deuteronomy 6:7 “And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.” What a difference it would make ! Proverbs 4:1 “Hear, ye children, the instruction of a father, and attend to know understanding.” Proverbs 4:2 “For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.” Proverbs 4:9 “She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: a crown of glory shall she deliver to thee.” I pray that this is a blessing to you. He may be "partly" Calvinist, but I have heard him say the elect are the "whosoever wills" and that makes me love his theology.

I do see your perspective about suffering I agree. And I like the insight that with God in the New Heaven and Earth will not have to worry about idolatry. Though I do not agree with Suffering living Low my entire life to have Better in my Next life. Nope SORRY. Though I do agree with Suffering. 2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. Job had A Great Life and Suffered. Sampson had a Great life but Suffered because of his own Sin! I agree in Suffering for Christ sake. And reaping the results of willful sin. But not the Theology of suffering my entire life to have better in the Next one! Some people have medical conditions or mental Psychological conditions that they are suffering in this life and will have a better one in the next one If they put their Faith in Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior. Lord Bless them on Earth. Amen

Great Message. I think and feel that the part about Inheritance he should have said 1. God 2. Eternal Life and Abundant Life 3. Glorified Body I don’t really care about the World. Heaven is a Created Place where God Sits where he Created. Later he will Create a New Heaven and Earth Revelation 21:1-5. Yes we do receive a New Earth. But Deeper the Inheritance is God. Because God will Created a new Heaven and the Earth. Heaven for some people does not include God. Example New World Order or a what the Devil wanted To overthrow God and take Heaven. Overall Great Sermon. Learned a lot from Romans 8:9-18. Learned if a Child of God you will have the HolySpirit verse 9. Will be Led by the Spirit verse 14. And will put to death the sin of the deeds of the flesh by the HolySpirit verse 13. Transparency sometimes I put to death the deeds of the flesh by Human Intellect. It does not work all the time. Human intellect is not consistent 100% all the time. I have to work on that and stop. Though I am led by the Spirit at times. I do hate my sins! And i do want to please God and obey his word.

In fact, no one can pass the test, it's bankruptcy for all humans. But because Christ died on the cross, by faith in him, we can be born again and so pass the test, with the force of God almighty. :-)

Trials and testing do not prove or disprove we are a child of God. God allows us to be tested in order to draw us closer to Him, to depend on Him and be able to help others who struggle with the same issues. Salvation is a free gift, not something we achieve in our strength or works. Eph. 2:8&9 You were saved by faith in God, who treats you much better than you deserve. This is God's gift to you, and not anything you have done on your own. It isn't something you have earned, so there is nothing you can brag about. (Contemporary English Version)
