Hi Jem, my long-winded, but concerning comments keep getting deleted. I also take care of my mom, & its hard to get to a Dr.s office, so we do telephone office consults, & we get labs drawn in the home, but I end up being her clinical advocate & always discuss new UTI or Bacterial Vaginosis symptoms for her with the Dr. which makes her & me very uncomfortable to talk about. He asked for some ice and I told him to lay on my bed (we only have one in our camper) and I went outside to give him some privacy. I begged him to make a doctor's appointment but he stubbornly believes things like this will pass. I'm just hoping some extra information will help him see he needs to be examined sometimes. Financially I can't argue my point very often.

Then go to a country where medicine is good and cheap, you can not only let him see his "private" issues but everything else (teeth, eyes, etc) and you too can do a checkup... Thank you. A very helpful presentation for both sexes, I thought, although slanted obviously towards the man. I do not think it harms his partner to know these physiologically damaging patterns in behaviour. ( grip etc ) I also believe that this set of ED type ( end result scenarios ) is quite common among men who regularly attend to their own sexual needs. As a nurse and one who’s had to do my own research to improve my own health , there are many ways to improve the status quo of a man’s erectile function and nutrition is a major factor. Exercise’s specific to purpose etc and involve the partner. As hard as that sounds. Love making is a gourmet not a pkt of crisps. Men need to learn a different language and approach to love making. Just find a partner with a higher sex drive when you’re ready for a relationship. People don’t stress that enough, that vastly different sd’s can be very difficult for either party. I know this personally as I have a much higher sd than my dh which did prove difficult during the first 15 or so years. Monday 5 December 2022: Doctora Malik is wonderful to listen to. You mention using internal fantasies instead of external fantasies but the problem is when you are an imaginative person, you can very easily push things so far that both external fantasies and real sex start to feel unattractive. I think that's what happened to me. And I find it'much harder to forego thinking than action so I don't think I'm getting out of this. At least I don't feel like trying too hard because when real sex starts to feel unattractive, you're not too bothered that you're missing out on it.

Many of us suffer from hypersexuality and for me personally I do not feel comfortable walking into public without masterbating at least once a day to keep the edge off.
