Oh Janet, I love your simple glue book art! You do inspire me. I've made a couple of your fairies, a couple of kitties, & birds. I want to make a dog, owl now. I want to make your heart with fairy dust & snippets of fabric in the the netting in the middle! So cute. You are a treasure for sure! I love when you & freedie go on your walks together! Also when you go to town & buy a few crafty things. I live in the states in Washington, TriCities in the desert 🏜. But it's not much desert anymore. We have a lot of crops around here & it has changed the dynamics of the weather some. We have a lot of wineries around here! Also apples 🍎 & hops too! So thanks for being calm & relaxing & show us your slow stitching. I really like it! Tell Flo I have made some of her cousins. I did a lot of swaps & have done several with her cousins. Wow! I really like how you make your glue books!! There are so many gorgeous pages in there. It would be so hard for me to choose which ones to glue together and which ones to tear out. I love how you store your scrap papers in the tin container. Beautiful spine, layering, textures, and overall journal. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful journal Janet. It looks like it would feel great to hold. You brought back lots of memories for me when you covered the journal. I used to have to cover my books in school. I'd cover them with brown paper bags and then decorate them. I wish I had some of them today so I could see how I decorated them. I can't wait to see how you fill it! Blessings, Helen

Hi sweet Janet 🤗, At Goodwill, I bought several cross stitch kits that were all bundled up in plastic. When I got home and opened the bundle. Each kit had the fabric, the embroidery floss and even a little needle in each, but the charts were missing from each one. 😭 Now I’m trying to chart them out by hand (since they are not too detailed) using the cover photos as a guide. It’s the most crafty thing I’ve done in a while.😀 Thank you Janet. You have helped me a lot.💙

I remember I always covered mine with brown paper bags from the grocery store it was always so nice to start fresh with a clean cover they were always covered in drawings and doodles bye the end lol lovely video thanks for bringing us along ❤

I am loving your videos. I enjoy seeing your office/craft room & everything you have in the background. Thank you for sharing these fun art projects. I just got 37 magazines from a local thrift store and I've already been taking out pages to start a glue book. When I was younger it was called "collage" and I wish I had kept the books I did back then. I'm learning to keep my art regardless of how it turns out and how I feel about it because I enjoy going back and looking through them. 💕 I am curious, do you make process videos of the pages that are in books like in the video? I enjoy seeing the finished product & would love to see the process from start to finish of a few pages being created. I am curious as to how you add so much texture and layers. I'll keep looking through your videos and hopefully find one 😊
