Just found you. I usually don't like a video until the end..... When you got to the owl....and spoke for him....the like was instant!

I keep rewatching the no talking part omg I love the sound and the nails across the different things like plastic, the raised text, the pages, the clipping and unclipping and opening and the sound of pulling and putting back into tuck spots. Also the sound of tying the bow. I have loved the paper section of the store all my life and I would go there and feel all the different paper. This is amazing.

Absolutely love how you pride yourself on recycling, upcycling and not using printables!

Top-shelf content, Natasha! LOVE how you cut in to show us what the cutouts looked like before in the magazines. Seriously, that took some extra time that not all content creators consider doing. This reminded me so much of a fabulously framed piece of my great Aunt LaVelle made back in the 70s with nothing but magazine images. I've always loved it, and it hangs in my living room still. You are just as inspiring as she was, I'm so thrilled to have stumbled across your site.

I love your videos! You're all I’ve been watching lately and I’m inspired to use up the scraps, recyclables and magazines I’ve been hoarding (I can’t stand to throw pretty scraps away). I’ve never made a junk journal and I can’t wait to try it. Your comment about a “man journal”… yes please! It’s easy to come up with ideas for my daughter and myself, but I lack inspiration when it comes to my husband and our (grown) boys. I would love to see you make a video with ideas just for the guys. We need more things for men at craft fairs and charity bazaars and things. You are delightful to listen to and your videos are fabulous!

First of all, I'd like to say, I think we all LOVE hearing you talk and yes, we tend to understand what you're trying to say even though you think we may not. 😊 I love that you reuse and recycle, although I do have a few printables, I prefer to go the repurpose route. I love to make journals, and find the challenge of recycling even more rewarding, so this video helps me see other ways to use what I have. With that said, I was laughing so hard during the "silent" flip through, I had to re-watch that section to make sure I didn't miss any of you being "silent", lol. 🤣 🤭 You're such an inspiration!!!

Natasha, LOL, you slay me. So many fun ideas for this JJ. I love them. I'm a paper nut also. Instead of the waves of beauty in the song from "The sound of music," I feel so utterly cozy with "the sound of paaaa-per". I just love it. In fact when we were kids, my sister and I found certain books and various papers and we would smooth them, crumple them, then smooth those out again and so forth. We found numerous ways to adore our oars. Oy. It's so fun to see and hear from JJ artists how much they love their papers. Not sure how the fascination started, but it has never left me. Funny when I'm reminded of it. I agree with you that one of my very favorite papers to. crumple, smooth, and use in my JJ's are packaging papers, yummy. XOXOJANE

Back to basics! Love this. When I first got into junk journaling it was you who inspired me. I had 20 yrs of saved travel tickets, hotel brochures etc that needed a place to live. I had few supplies but a ton of travel magazines which became my picturesque tuck spots and belly bands. I spent months recalling each anniversary trip my husband and I took, and created my 20 year travel journal. Now when my husband ask what year did we go to.....? I have it all in my journal....dates to and from, which airline and the cost! I wrote a small journal page for each trip. It all came together because of your easy to follow, inspiring videos, using next to nothing! That was the beginning....now if you could see my craft room 😱

have you ever thought of making a junk journal as only a sound and tactile experience rather than a place to write?

Word of caution…if you are planning to sell or publicly display your work, be very very aware of your country’s copyright and trademark laws. In the US, there have been multiple landmark cases lately that reaffirm the original creator’s rights. For your own use, you need not worry. But, otherwise, nearly all published images are copyrighted. You can find images online that are copyright free. As always, beautiful work!!!

Love this journal. You put an entirely different perspective to looking through magazines. I love, love, love your channel. You are my favorite junk journal creator. I used several of your ideas in a junk journal for my daughters wedding. I used napkins from the wedding and made homemade paper for her journal the process was as you showed and I love how the paper turned out. Keep these great ideas coming.

ideas...ideas...ideas...ideas...and then some more ideas! The lion/heart tag is superb! Also the perfume bottle tag - I'm going to be looking out for all sorts of container images to make tags with now! I do use magazine images, but this video makes me realise I could get MUCH more out of a magazine. The journal as a whole is beautiful. A very satisfying and inspiring video - so well put together with those source material inserts - bravo!
