Aether being unnoticeable is canon in both story mode and gameplay. Paimon is the main character while their kit is a mess so players doesn't really pay attention to them.

The fact that in the end only Misteln have the transformed sentai suit which of her very own is hilarious, the rest from Aether wearing Xiao's Yaksha helm, Finality Kiana wearing Mei's Herrscher of Origin helmet, to Caelus got acquired Kalpas' mask (probably from him stealing Herta's or Asta's research and museum showcases lol) to Luocha somehow got Void Archive's masque out of nowhere are adding goofy layers to anyone that got good amount of knowledge of the games

The Hoyo characters fit them so well,especially Luocha and Kagura since not only do both Katsura and Luocha have long hair,but they also share the same VAs. The same goes for Kiana and Kagura since both share the same personality while having the same VA as well (Btw,the episode Achevo parodying is the original Gintama,episode 44)
