I just upgraded the ram on my hp 17" after watching one of your videos. First time I've ever done it on a laptop. I plan to upgrade from the HDD to a SSD at some point soon. Thanks for making the process so easy to follow.

My daughter's computer must have had a latte drink spilled on it and then all the dust, stuck on fan & exhaust fins. crumbs and debris all up and around entire laptop. I did clean off sticky stuff and clean, scrape, unclog all areas. Of course fan ☠️ died long and had death. I need to order a new fan. Someone told me try Amazon $25 or so for one. Just scared of ordering wrong one. was yours a 4pin one? I used a soft but form paint brush, and too brush and microfiber cloth , very slightly damp with alcohol to wipe cover and all sticky surfaces. Love that HP used same size screws, too.

I have Hp au084tx Its manual says .. Supports M.2 SATA-3 SSD 128 GB SATA III Solid-state Drive 256 GB SATA III Solid-state Drive 256 GB SATA III Solid-state Drive NVMe What this means, does it support m.2 SATA ssd or NVMe SSD ??? SHOULD i go with 500gb or only 256 gb supported ???
