Is it possible to use it with a PC as well? I dont have Wi-Fi on it but got internet that comes from the WI-FI network that the ink is connected to.

Yes and No. The printer has USB cable, so you can use the usb cable and print like a regular usb printer. Not wireless. Other option is ePrint. HP allows you to create a ePrint account. You will get a special email address for your printer. You can email your document to that email address from anywhere and the printer will print the document. This is wireless. Printer is connected to WiFi network. But you need internet, the document has to travel through web and reach your printer via email. Hope you got the point.

"to avoid damage use shutdown down button" is what ive been getting. how wud u sugest i reboot the printer

I get that message if I turn off the power(wall switch) without shutting down the printer(printer power button). When I do this, the message comes up next time I turn on. If I shutdown the printer(press power button) and wait for complete shutdown(screen goes off) and then turn off the wall power, this message does not appear. So just shutdown using the power button, wait for the screen to go off, wait another 5 seconds and turn off at the wall. You may also get the message if there was a power cut.

hi wifi mode is must to do this wireless printing ? i dont have wifi modem there is any option to connect.

You can also print using wifi direct. Your phone /pc will connect to the printer directly without router. I did not try this, but printer supports wifi direct.

+Nachiket Patil For home purpose or low use, this is an excellent one. I think I have it for around a year now, I didn't face any issues. The only issue I face is the cartridges drying out which is common for any ink jet printer. Make sure you print something atleast once a week or two. If you do not print anything for a long time which I do, you will have tough time reusing the cartridges. This is the not a weakness of this printer, it is a weakness of all inkjet printers.

+abhishek kumar I don't know much. From Google search I understand that it comes up when the cartridge is unable to move. Open the printer lid and see if anything is blocking the cartridge movement. If nothing is there, it's time to get hp support.
