How easy is to setup HP DeskJet 3720 all-in-one printer with iPad? 

Hi, guys. Just to let you know that if you want to change WiFi Direct password or other settings of the printer, you can do so by accessing HP printer Embedded Web Server. I found these instructions super simple and easy to follow. After spending the whole morning trying to reinstall our printer since we moved - and 45 min on the phone with after sales support to no avail - it took me max 10 minutes to install it successfully and that’s only because the printer is quite slow. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!!

Thank you for doing this. I really appreciate it. I bought one online but it didn’t come with any instructions. Also thank you for the person who mentioned that it was a struggle on the cartridges. I felt I was doing it wrong and going to break them too. Even though the ink was already installed in his it would have been nice if he showed how to take them out and put them in. Very informative. 😊 And yes this small printer is for those people like me who never have to print things, until out of the blue your printing and scanning documents to get social security. 🤓

i actually LOVE this printer, i´ve had it for years! I only have a tablet at home, and i love the wierless printing! also, i dont care that its super slow, i have time. I print sewing patterns and acationally word document, and it fits me perfectly! Thanks for the easy set up video, i just moved house and forgot how to connect it again. tnx!

Hi, TY for the vid. I purchased a Laptop and they had a deal where this printer was an additional $20.00 - so I bought it without learning it's features. I'm so thrilled, It's a great little printer, works wonderfully, and does much more than I'd thought. I can use my phone, Chromebook (with an app) , Fire 10HD Tablet, all to print and even Google Home - verbally to tell it to print to the printer! So convenient. Plus it scans! Best printer I've purchased.

The one con about this is the scanning feature. I find you have to hold the paper in and it can only scan 1 page at a time? It would make more sense for it to scan in reverse from what it does now. Like have the scanner scan like how the paper is fed through when printing. Anyone else agree?

I had trouble with the ink cartridges as you have to REALLY shove em' in there -- was scared I was going to break the frame because of how much force it requires!

Great tutorial although i havent tried it yet but plan to tonight. What i need to know is, when you connect it to wifi through your ipad what about using a main computer? I do alot of work on my main computer so i dont know what to do as you set yours up using your ipad. Im SOOOO CONFUSED! Please help me. Ive been over a week or longer procrastinating over this, techi stuff scares the holy crapola out of me! 😔

Hi wondering if you can help on this one My print was working fine and then it stoped ! Its now saying ble to my hp printer is unable to connect to your wireless router Mac Address filtering may be enabled on your wireless router which can prevent your HP printer from connecting to your wireless network during setup. Solution Mac address is enabled and you would like to keep it enabled you must dd the mac address of your printer to the list of permitted devices for your wireless router before continuing. It gives me details but where do i put them ? TIA

Thanks so much for this tutorial. I was going around in circles trying to get this printer reset. Extra benefits were the scanning details and the instructions for using with my ipad as well as my computer. Sadly all this was missing from the instructions that come with the packaging.

you definitely should put the iPad closer to the camera to appreciate and know in detail every menu name option you have chosen.

Thank you for the helpful video. I saw a symbol on the scanning part. There is a symbol of a paper with lines and above that there's a symbol that looks like an ID card. I cannot find any information on what the scanner can do with a card that size. Is it possible to scan cards that size? Looking forward to your reply.
