Amazing content. Love how authentic you were. This video has the most clear cut instructions on what to do. You went into great details that most do not cover. Thank you, great video!! Well done!!
Thanks for this informative and, frankly, funny tutorial. After watching the others, this one made me convinced to upgrade my RAM. I even got a sweet deal for the same brand you used. Thanks again man I hope I be as successful as you!
you prolly dont care but does anybody know a way to get back into an Instagram account?? I was stupid lost the password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me!
@Duke Camilo thanks for your reply. I found the site on google and im trying it out atm. Takes a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@@jonaslaw1077 Yes it can be. Part of the motherboard can be powered all the time, even if the PC is turned off. It is known as 5v standby current. It allows things like "wake on LAN" to work. So if you were to short circuit it you could cause damage. Not all motherboards have this, but it is not worth the risk for the sake of two minutes work verses a damaged motherboard. Then I have see people who thought they had shut down the laptop, but only put it into sleep mode. Same result. If you watch the videos made by HP on teardown they ALWAYS disconnect the battery.
My man, you made it so simple for a noob, to this era anyway. Next stop, I'm gonna swap out that 512 stick for a 4tb and use the 1tb 980 I just put in, for the boot drive and apps and all that non-gaming jazz. Last time I did anything PC related was 2005ish, trying to learn to build from my dad, he's dumb and a dooshbag. But it's time to learn to build and work on PCs. Thanks again
Thank you. This was helpful. I will check for other videos. My issue is my Omen has a small C: drive. The program I need to run will only exist happily on C:. I need to move the OS, etc to a larger SSD and install that one.
Is it possible I can swap out the HDD for a classic SSD drive not m.2 ssd ? I plan on getting this laptop and using my ssd boot drive from my desktop and placing it in my laptop
Phew, glad it all worked out in the end. Learned something new? Like and Sub! And, how was your 1st time upgrading your pc/lappy? Was it fun? Nerve-wracking? Let me know in the comments!
Hello I've just upgraded my omen 2020 laptop with Samsung 970 evo plus which its read speed is 3 giga/s and when I checked it with cmd the speed was 1730 Why ?
Hi mate thanks for the video ! I have a question maybe you could help : I juste upgraded my omen 15 with a ssd in which there’s already a windows installed and a bunch of files that I’ve already cloned on another computer. Windows is booting in my existing HDD. I would like to boot windows on this « new » ssd so I can manage my softwares on ssd and files on hdd for better performances overall. My problème is that HP is blocking BIOS advanced options and I cannot change my data configuration to change order boot… So I’m here with a totally perfect SSD bootable but I can’t 😢 Do you have any solution for this appart from flashing my bios ? Thanks in advance ! Good day to you !
@@n0sceteipsum Thanks for the reply. My question was regarding m.2 nvme, internal ssd memory. Since the hp omen has 2 slots, can I use 2 separate 1tb on each side. I would like to get total of 2TB or more. I currently have 1tb internal. I believe it's using 500mb in each slot. I'm trying to buy all the possible parts to max out the specs. It would be great to have 2tb internal space, 64gb ram, wifi6, and bigger battery.
