I cant attach the antenna cables back to the network card. I seem be getting wifi just fine but they wont click in. Cheers

Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P regarding your question: try to use a magnifier to check the cable of the wifi to see if its ok and not damaged, it should snap into card, but if you getting wifi then don't touch it. Hello and thanks for the detailed video.i upgraded the ram and ssd on my laptop ,everything went fine but when i shut the PC it turns on again.do u think there s a problem with the power connection on the mainboard?

Regarding your question, this is not a HARDWARE issue my friend it is a software issue. i recommend you to turn off the FAST boot option from control panel > power settings advanced. other option you can try is using this and if it works i can show you how to create a file and intergrade it so you don't have to all the step every time: Step 1: Click Start and type "cmd" > Run as Administrator. Step 2: When the Command Prompt window is open, insert the following command: Shutdown/s /f /t 0 Step 3: After a little wait, restart your PC. another way you can try this: Disable Automatic Restart: Step 1: Open the Settings menu > System > About. Step 2: Choose Related Links and tap on Advanced System Settings. Step 3: Under the System Properties sections, go to Advanced > Startup and Recovery > Settings. Step 4: Then, uncheck the Automatically restart choice under System Failure and press OK. press ok if none of the above worked let me know i can help you fix it.

Mine only has 4GB stock... if I add 16GB to the second slot, is it better to put it in the first slot and move the 4 to the second? I'm also cloning my drive to a 1Tb ssd (current is 500gb HDD).

Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P regarding your question: sorry that i was away for few days, 1st of all i would recommend to watch this video to CONFIRM that your motherboard can handle over 20GB ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-tKEJTkVth4Q.html and regarding the positioning of the rams it makes no difference if you place 4gb in 1st or 2nd slot. about the ssd upgrade you can clone but after cloning you get a lot of error then i recommend fresh install (its always the best) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bMlm9SDcWmY.html

@@uFixTek thanks for getting back to me! I ended up using 2x8gb's (could not find any single 16gb's. Cloned the hdd to ssd (1Tb)... all is working well. I was worried that would run into issues with the different connecting points, but luck was on my side. Thanks again for the great step-by-step tutorial!

When upgrading ram do i need to do any software updates? Or is it plug and play. Also will my HP 13-s122nr be able to handle 16gb ram?

Is it possible to put an small ssd like m.2 2230 size in place of the wifi adapter? will it work? what is the keying of that slot?, kinda looks like an msata

Thank you for the feedback! if you wish to support the channel you can LIKE or SUB or both :P regarding your question: it won't work, even that it is a m.2 PCI-E lane, BUT the m.2 is not keyed for SSD use, its an E key, which is not compatible with any M.2 SSD to conclude don't waist your time on that, it won't work.

Hello, i have a problem with my HP laptop, i already got installed a secondary ram module and it is suposed to show 12gb available, but it only recognizes 4gb on the bios and windows.

I double checked it on cpu-z and it shows me 12gb on SINGLE channel, but windows keeps showing me only 4gb available

there is something wrong on you windows registry, this issue was happening to a client and we had to reformat the windows.
